Race 2 - TAB NOVICE (1) 407m

1 Sargent Burner - Checked around the first turn. Checked racing in the back straight.

3 Swerve - Checked around the first turn.

5 Double Tara – Checked and fell soon after the start before regaining balance and completing the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Sonic Groove – Slow to begin.

8 Kajal Rani – Very slow to begin. Checked around the first turn.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) 407m

1 Shona's Fury – Checked in the back straight. Marred by another runner approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

3 Prince Danube - Checked around the first turn.

4 Free From Desire - Checked around the first turn. A port-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound approaching the home turn and in the home straight. After considering the trainers’ submissions, stewards were satisfied Free From Desire had marred the running of Shona’s Fury on two occasions by shifting out and making muzzle contact. Under GAR 123 Free From Desire was stood down for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.
