The start of kennelling was delayed by 10 minutes due to the attending veterinary officer running behind schedule.

Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 407m

Gilded – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on the way to the start and was cleared to race. Checked and dragged down behind in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Cascade Girl – Checked on the first turn and then continued to lose ground on the main body of the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right back muscle strain and a 14 day stand down was issued.

Rattlin’ Grace – (Beaten favourite 4^th) Checked and dragged down behind racing into the back straight. Checked around the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Race 2 - TAB NOVICE (1) 407m

Key Piece – (Beaten favourite) Checked around the first turn and then beaten narrowly into second place.

Shona’s Fury – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Double Tara - A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind toe laceration and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Shanti – (Beaten favourite 7^th) Checked and lost considerable momentum around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Barcelona Boy – (Beaten favourite 2^nd) Tightened and checked around the first turn.

Race 6 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE GRADE 4 407m

Inspired Reason – (Beaten favourite 6^th) Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Awesome Hope – Severely checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness to the left back muscle and a 7 day stand down was issued.

Flexibility – (Beaten favourite 6^th) Checked and lost considerable ground racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
