Bare Facts – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the greyhounds’ actions in the home straight, in particular the outward movement towards Banker’s Choice. After considering the available replays and submissions made by trainer S Boody, stewards were satisfied that Bare Facts had turned its head towards another greyhound and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment under GAR 124(1). As this was the greyhounds first offence it has been stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a satisfactory trial. |
