Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 407m

Chipped Penny – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the greyhound’s actions towards Kingsbrae Tay in the home straight. Considering the submissions of trainer P Sear, the available replays and the stewards’ observations, stewards were satisfied that in the run to the finish Chipped Penny turned its head and shifted in towards Kingsbrae Tay and made head and muzzle contact with that runner. Under GAR123 was stood down for marring for 28 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.

Kingsbrae Tay - A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right wrist sprain and a 7 day stand down was issued. Stewards inquired into the greyhound’s actions towards Chipped Penny rounding the home turn. Considering the submissions of trainer G Cluse, the available replays and the stewards’ observations, stewards were satisfied that on the home turn Kingsbrae Tay turned its head and shifted out towards Chipped Penny. Under GAR124 was stood down for failing to pursue with due commitment for 28 days at all tracks and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a second offence in accordance with GAR127.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 407m

Double Tara - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 – TAB NOV/M 510m

Tiger Mime – (Beaten favourite 4^th) Dragged down from behind soon after the start. Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right wrist and a 5 day stand down was issued.

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MA5 407m

Race 5 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE MIXED 4/5 510m

Miss Zoom Zoom – (Beaten favourite last) Slow to begin. Checked severely around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Say Some Words – (Beaten favourite 6^th) Slow to begin. Severely checked racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed muscular soreness and a 5 day stand down was issued.

Race 9 - ROCKY FEED & SEED GRADE 5 (2) 407m

Orson Trinity – (Beaten favourite last) Checked around the first turn. Severely checked and nearly fell racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a sprain to the right wrist and a 10 day stand down was issued.
