Garnacho – Deviated its attention away from the lure racing towards the home turn and shifted very wide hampering Spring Aster for a considerable distance. Stewards inquired into the racing manners of the greyhound and after considering stewards own observations, the available replays and submissions from trainer K Suli the provisions for GAR124 were invoked for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and Garnacho was stood down for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.
Spring Aster – Hampered for a significant distance approaching and rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |
