Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (1) 407m

Feelin’ Dusty – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination. The examination revealed a minor right hip support strain resulting in a stand-down period of 5 days. Stewards inquired into the racing action of the greyhound in the home straight. After considering submissions from trainer G Weeding, viewing the available replays and acting on their own observations; Stewards were satisfied that the greyhound had failed to pursue the lure keenly throughout. Due to the veterinary findings and a first offence under GAR125 the veterinary stand-down period was the only stand-down applied.

Race 2 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (2) 407m

Onslow Beach – Severely checked after the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right wrist strain and lumbar pain. A 10-day stand-down period was issued.

The all clear for this race was delayed to allow stewards time to view replays and confirm the finishing order due to the photo finish system failing.

Race 3 - SKY RACING NOVICE 407m

Bahama Blue - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a left elbow injury. A 10-day stand-down period was issued.

Race 4 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 5 (1) 407m

No matters of concern for the Stewards.

Race 5 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE GRADE 5 (2) 407m

Sensational Star (beaten favourite) – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn. Finished strongly for 5^th place.

Race 6 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 4/5 407m

Flat broke – Late scratching at 5.30pm due to a weight variation in excess of one kilogram above its most recent recorded race weight. The greyhound was stood down for 10 days under GAR101(1). Trainer P Sear was reprimanded under GAR101(3)(b) for presenting his greyhound with a weight variation beyond the permitted one kilogram. In adopting this penalty, stewards were mindful of the trainers guilty plea and having never incurred a prior breach under the relevant rule.

Ranger Beach - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a left carpal sprain. A 14-day stand-down period was issued.

Race 7 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MIXED 3/4 407m

Rolls Ripple - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent injury.

Race 8 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL GRADE 5 510m

No matters of concern for the Stewards.

Race 9 - QGOLD HEAT 1 OPEN 407m

No matters of concern for the Stewards.

Race 10 - QGOLD HEAT 2 OPEN 407m

Race 11 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (3) 407m

Cosmo Sterling – Severely checked at the first turn and appeared to contact the inside rail. Further checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right shoulder strain. A 14-day stand-down period was issued.
