Farmor Casual – Contacted after the race in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination was requested by stewards which revealed a lower lumber strain. A 5-day stand-down was issued.

Whisky Tango – Late scratching at 5.59pm due to a weight variation in excess of one kilogram above its most recent recorded race weight. The greyhound was stood down for 10 days under GAR101(1). Trainer A Boody was reprimanded under GAR101(3)(b) for presenting a greyhound with a weight variation greater than one kilogram. Stewards were mindful of the trainer’s guilty plea and the time since their last breach under the relevant rule.
Sergeant Green – Led for most of the race and was caught in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

Educator (beaten favourite – 3rd) – Checked off the heels around the first turn. Continued to run on but was unable to catch the lead. |
