Tijuana Twinkle (Beaten favourite) – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Race 6 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

Earn Silk (beaten favourite) – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Lady Leslie – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a tear to the left front stopper pad and no stand down was issued.

 

Race 7 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

Uncle Dan – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after rubbing the top off an old wound and was cleared to start.

 

Novelist – Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Mr W Boon was questioned on the racing manners of the greyhound. After considering all available evidence, stewards were satisfied that the greyhound had marred the running of Sorsogon Smile in the home straight and has been stood down from racing for 28 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a steward’s trial as this was the first offence for the greyhound under GAR 123.

 

Me And Fred – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have poor post-race recovery and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

Race 8 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL GRADE 4 407m

 

Velocity Cazau – Severely checked around the first turn.

 

Race 9 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD VERSATILITY HEAT 2 GRADE 5 407m

 

No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 10 - KEN BOODY VERSATILITY HEAT 3 GRADE 5 407m

 

Fancy Gift (beaten favourite) – Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Race 11 – TAB MA5 407m

 

Counterpunch – Faulted in its action in the back straight resulting in being checked and dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hind leg injury and was stood down from racing for 60 days and a veterinary clearance trial.

 

Dynamic One – Severely checked leaving the back straight.
