Bargara Holden – Severely checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Shots And Squats - Severely checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Aviator – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN (2) 407m

Remembering Jack – Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right wrist sprain and a 14 day stand down was issued.

Double Dollars – Contacted the catching pen curtain solidly at the completion of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (3) 407m

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 4 - NEWSEXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD NOVICE (1) 407m

Brick – Severely checked and fell on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right wrist sprain and a 14 day stand down was issued.

Race 5 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN NOVICE (2) 407m

Race 6 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 407m

Topaz Blue – (Beaten favourite) Checked around the first turn. Checked in the back straight.

Race 7 - SKY RACING 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 407m

Race 8 - THE REGGIES PODCAST 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 407m

Race 9 - KEN BOODY MIXED 3/4 407m

Black Wizard – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the greyhounds actions in the home straight. After considering submissions from trainer J Thompson, the available replays and their own observations, stewards were satisfied that Black Wizard had turned its head noticeably for a number of strides in the home straight towards Lady Steps and therefore failed to pursue the lure throughout with due commitment. As this was the greyhounds third offence, Black Wizard has been stood down from racing for three months and until the completion of two satisfactory stewards trials.

Race 10 - GARY WEEDING GRADE 4 407m

The start was delayed due to a Lismore Thoroughbred race running behind schedule.

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 11 – TAB MA5 407m

Farmor Intrusion – Checked around the first turn. Checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a back muscle strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Tarawi Opal – Checked on two occasions around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hind foot injury and a 21 day stand down was issued.

Ethan’s Thunder – A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness to both shoulders and a 10 day stand down was issued. Stewards inquired into the greyhounds actions in the home straight. After considering submissions from trainer L McCarthy, the available replays and their own observations, stewards were satisfied that Ethan’s Thunder had turned its head noticeably for a number of strides close to the finish towards Tommy Tuna and therefore failed to pursue the lure throughout with due commitment. As the greyhound was found to be injured and had no prior offences, under GAR125(1)(a) Ethan’s Thunder has been stood down for the 10-day veterinary imposed period and until the completion of a satisfactory stewards trial.
