Race 6 – Not At All was a late scratching at 8:23am and was stood down for 10 days under the provisions of GAR76(2) after trainer A Watts was unable to attend today’s meeting due to illness. Trainer A Watts was advised that he is required to provide a medical certificate clarifying his illness. |

Race 8 – Novelist was declared a late scratching at 10:10am and was stood down for 10 days under the provisions of GAR76(2) after Trainer W Boon reported that the greyhound had an injury. Mr Boon was advised that a veterinary certificate must be provided clarifying the injury. |

Aston Vincent (beaten favourite) – Severely checked leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Airborne Speed – Checked and dragged down and fell in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness and bruising to both hips, the lumbar area, shoulders and the left thigh and was stood down from racing for 5 days.
Baytown Sonny – Appeared to hit the running rail racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormities. |
