Race 1 Spot on Boys was declared a late scratching at 5.40pm during kennelling when presented with a weight variation in excess of 1kg beyond its most recently recorded weight. The greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days under GAR101(1) and trainer J Kuhl was reprimanded under GAR101(3)(b). in issuing penalty stewards considered that the trainer has a long-standing unblemished record in relation to the particular rule. |

Midnight Ranger – Shifted wider racing into the back straight and checked Fluent Action. Checked rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the greyhounds’ actions racing into the back straight. After considering submissions from trainer M Boody, the available replays and the stewards own observations stewards were satisfied that contact between Fluent Action and Midnight Ranger caused a brief outward turn of Midnight Rangers head and therefore took the matter no further.
Brick – Slow to begin. Appeared to faulter in its action racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right shoulder strain and a right hip strain. The greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days.

Blue Raptor - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the racing manners of the greyhound in the home straight. After considering submissions from trainer J Thompson, the available replays and the stewards own observations stewards were satisfied that Blue Raptor had shifted outwards and marred the running of Sober Meredith in the home straight. Acting under GAR123 the greyhound has been stood down for three months and until the completion of two satisfactory trials for a third offence.
