4. Up To Sniff – Checked and forced wider entering the back straight. Hampered by another runner in the front straight. |

6. Boy’s Therapy – Faulted in its actions and gave ground entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hip support muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. |

8. Rosa’s Garden – deviated attention towards a runner entering the front straight but did not make muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Jaunita Thompson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

· Race 4 was declared a no race due to a runner turning around and running back towards the field. Acting under the provisions of GAR 110 stewards declared the event a No Race. |

4. Live Chat – Checked off the heels of another runner soon after the start and stopped before turning around and running back towards the field. Stewards ordered the lure to be shut down and declared the event a no race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Dennis Isles regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
