Race 1 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MAIDEN 407m

Kotishi – Checked on the first turn. Checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Get ‘em Bud – Showed significant aggression towards other greyhounds in the catching pen. Trainer C Thompson was advised under the provisions of GAR131(b) that he must provide an additional person to catch the greyhound for future starts and that person is to be located as close as practicable to the area where the greyhound pull up in the catching pen.

Casey Get Pacey – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - THE REGGIES PODCAST NOVICE (1) 407m

Baby Shocker – Checked around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right wrist injury and a 28 day stand down was issued.

Red Ricciardo – Checked around the first turn. Gave ground over the final 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards refrained from taking action in relation to the poor performance due to the deteriorating track conditions.

Sharp Shot – Checked racing into the first turn. Gave ground noticeably over the final 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery. Stewards refrained from taking action in relation to the poor performance due to the deteriorating track conditions.
