Darts Night – Declared a late scratching at 5.35pm after being presented and found to have a weight variation in excess of one kilogram below its most recent recorded weight. The grey hound has been stood down from racing for 10 days. Trainer J Thompson was reprimanded under GAR101(3)(b) for presenting her runner with a weight variation beyond the permitted amount. In assessing penalty steward were mindful of the trainers record which identified no breaches of the specific rule in the past 2 years and the significant number of starters that Ms Thompson has had in that period. |
