Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION NOVICE 407m

Race 3 - REGGIES PODCAST GRADE 5 (1) 407m

Angel’s Rage – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after running through the catching pen gate after the race and no apparent abnormalities were detected.

Grande Bahama – Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left tricep strain and a 14 day stand down was issued. Stewards inquired into the action of the greyhound in the home straight when shifting outwards noticeably in the home straight towards Burrum Betty. After considering submissions from trainer C Pollard, the available replays and their own observations, stewards were satisfied that Grande Bahama had deviated its attention away from the lure in the home straight by turning its head outwards and then shifting out and bumping with Burrum Betty and had therefore failed to pursue with due commitment by way of injury. In accordance with GAR125(1)(a) for a first offence the greyhound has been stood down for the veterinary imposed period of 14 days.

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY GRADE 5 (2) 407m

Go Go Cambla – Severely checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a muscle tear in the right hind leg and a 21 day stand down was issued.

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 4 407m

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MIXED 4/5 510m

Loveless – Checked from behind racing off the back straight when tiring. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND BEST 8 407m

Tigger – Checked racing into the back straight and was then checked again soon after. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery however no stand down was issued.

Race 8 - QGOLD FINAL OPEN 510m

Lucky Llama – Checked on a number of occasions soon after the start. Severely checked around the first turn and failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right hind leg injury and a 60 day stand down was issued and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory veterinary clearance trial.

Race 9 - SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 407m

Blue Rex – Checked racing into the back straight. Checked in the back straight. Appeared to faulter racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lumbar back strain and a 14 day stand down was issued.
