Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

Branigan – Very slow to begin and stumbled off the starting mat. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a split webbing to the left hindleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 2 -DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION NOVICE 407m

Race 3 - REGGIES PODCAST MA5 407m

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 407m

Cambla Miricle – Dragged down rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left shoulder strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 407m

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 407m

Awesome Cambla – A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness to both shoulders and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the home straight and after considering the submissions from trainer L Cameron and the available replays the provisions of GAR125(1) for failing to pursue by way of injury were invoked against Awesome Cambla for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by turning its head inwards in the home straight for a number of strides. The greyhound has been stood down for 5 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.

Cambla Bliss (beaten second favourite) – Severely checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Baytown Stripe – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a wrist sprain to the right foreleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 407m

No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 8 - SKY RACING GRADE 4 407m

Keep Paying – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Kingsbrae Smokey – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN BEST 8 407m

Play Dirty (beaten favourite) – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 510m

Prior to all clear being given the stewards viewed the replays in relation to the lead greyhound and the distance away from the lure racing around the first turn. After viewing the replays, it was established that the lure distance was closer then the required 5 metres however stewards could not be satisfied that this materially disadvantage or advantaged any greyhound and all clear was given. The lure driver was advised to ensure that the lure distance comparative to the lead greyhound is maintained consistently throughout.

Educator – Was involved in a scrimmage in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
