General:

· Due to storm activity around the vicinity of the race course, stewards closely monitored the BOM and lightning tracker maps, for the safety and wellbeing of participants, staff and racing animals.

· Stewards intend to inquire into the behaviour of trainer Darren Taylor following an incident after the late scratching of the greyhound Aviator in race 3

Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

7. Nicky Beach – Checked soon after the start. Checked on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside hind back muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION NOVICE 407m

6.Spot On Boys – Checked and disadvantaged on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside and offside hind pad abrasion and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Race 3 - REGGIE'S PODCAST 1-3 WINS HEAT 1 1-3 WINS 407m

1. Case Dismissed – Checked soon after the start and collided with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hind back muscle strain, nearside fore deltoid muscle strain and nearside fore triceps muscle strain, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

4. King Eternal – Checked in the back straight. lost footing entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 11 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL 1-3 WINS HEAT 2 1-3 WINS 407m

4. Coronation Day – Slow to Begin. Raced wider in the back straight. Checked on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
