Race 3 -REGGIES PODCAST GRADE 5 (1) Y 407m  

Rockin’ With It – Severely checked leaving the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hindleg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 60 days and requires a satisfactory veterinary clearance trial prior to racing.

Make Noise – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Tip Top Ethics – Dragged down leaving the first turn and was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY MA5 Y 407m

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 1 OPEN Y 510m

Heffernan Bale – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race.

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 2 OPEN Y 510m

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 3 OPEN Y 510m

Sergeant Green – Severely checked rounding the fist turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions to the left hindleg, and no stand down was issued.

Farmor Casual – Dragged down from behind and checked noticeably on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Race 8 - SKY RACING ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD HEAT 4 OPEN Y 510m

The start of this race was delayed due to the muzzle having to be replaced on Imprisonment. Stewards inspected the broken muzzle and accepted that it was relatively new.

Waikarie Venom – A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions to the right hindleg and webbing abrasions to left hindleg and no stand down was issued.

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN FFA1-3 Y 407m

Airborne Beach was declared a late scratching at kennelling with a weight variation of 1.1kg below its previous race start. Airborne Beach was stood down from racing for 10 days under the provisions of GAR101(1). Trainer K Suli was reprimanded under the provisions of GAR101(3)(b) for weight variation. When considering penalty stewards took into account her clear record in relation to this rule.

Race 10 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND GRADE 4 Y 407m

Gilded – Faulted in its action shortly after the start and failed to complete the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left front tricep injury, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound shortly after the start and after considering the submissions from trainer L Evans, the available replays and the steward’s observations the provisions of GAR 125(1) for failing to pursue by way of injury were invoked against Gilded for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by visibly easing and failing to complete the course by turning around. The greyhound has been stood down for the veterinary endorsed period of 7 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.
