MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M Trainer M. Rajan
was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 39.1 for presenting RAIL GUN to
race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of
Greyhound Racing. RAIL GUN was a late
scratching from the race. SPRING PUZZLE was the best to begin. SIR REGINALD and SPRING PUZZLE bumped on
the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to CRACKLIN’
ROSIE, LISTEN CAPTAIN and CYCLONE BELLE.
SIR REGINALD also lost considerable ground as a result. |

RAZOR
CREW MAIDNE 380M BARNIE BOUCHEAU was the best to
begin. FLYING GRIEVES lost ground on
the turn out of the back straight to finish a distant last. A veterinary inspections
of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.
Subsequently Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood
FLYING GRIEVES down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial
for a unsatisfactory performance. J. Newnham, the trainer of
REBELETTE, was advised that the performance of the greyhound was bordering on
unsatisfactory and a warning was placed on the greyhound. |

KOOPA OLSEN NOVICE 380M The
start of the race was delayed 30 seconds due to interstate harness racing. VELOCITY
AIM was the best to begin. OCTAVIAN
was slow into stride as the start was effected. GAGAN ELL and VELOCITY AIM bumped in the
back straight resulting in VELOCITY AIM losing ground. GAGAN ELL checked off BAILINATOR on the
turn out of the back straight losing ground back on to VELOCITY AIM. VELOCITY AIM and GAGAN ELL bumped on the
turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming
unbalanced. ABRAHAM KEEPING raced wide
in the home straight. |

GOLDENVIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th
GRADE 380M HOLIER THAN THOU was the best to
begin. FARMOR EL DORADO and CHIEF
START bumped shortly after the start resulting in CHIEF START losing ground. CHIEF START checked off FARMOR EL DORADO
and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference
to GAGAN LASSOO. GAGAN LASSOO raced
wide in the home straight. |

HEATH 4/5th GRADE 380M Trainer R. Lound
was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 39.1 for presenting OUR MADAM to
race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of
Greyhound Racing. OUR MADAM was a last
scratching from the race. The start was delayed 1m 40s due to
interstate harness racing. CRUSHED ICE was the best to begin. RAZOR ROSE raced wide into the front
straight. |

NQ CRD TUNING & PERFORMANCE 4/5th
GRADE 498M ASA TOP AGENT was the best to begin. MID WESTERN GIRL and VELOCITY KYZON were
slow to begin. LIBERTY LEGS and THANK
YOU POP bumped on the turn after the start resulting in SCORPIO JAY checking
off the heels of THANK YOU POP. COSMIC
FREEZE checked off the hind quarters of ASA TOP AGENT on the turn into the
back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. MID WESTERN GIRL checked across the heels
of VELOCITY KYZON on the turn into the front straight. COSMIC FREEZE, ASA TOP AGENT and MID
WESTERN GIRL bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in COSMIC
FREEZE and ASA TOP AGENT losing ground. |

GUNNADOO DELTA raced wide in the home straight. |

greyhound revealed an off hind muscle injury. |
