ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

ALWAYS A DIVA and PEARSON PRIDE were the best to begin.  ALWAYS A DIVA and PEARSON PRIDE bumped shortly after the start resulting in PEARSON PRIDE losing ground.  FARMOR WANNA BEE checked off the heels of VELOCITY HEZZA and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

WOODFIELD ENGINEERING NOVICE 380M

Even start.  HOLIER THAN THOU and ABRAHAM KEEPING were tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  ABRAHAM KEEPING raced wide into the home straight.

KERRI HAYWARD 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  ASA TOP AGENT, GAGAN LASSOO, MAYWYN MOOLA and MISTIFIDE bumped shortly after the start resulting in the greyhounds losing ground.

MCGUIRE’S RAICING 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  RHONDA’S DYNO was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  SPUDNUT checked off the heels of ASA EL CHAPPO and almost fell approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to CHIEF START, MAYWYN WEALTH and RHONDA’S DYNO.

5.

ROSEY OLSEN 4th GRADE 380M

Even start with ODD SOX slow to begin.  SCOTTIE’S GIRL and BUCKLED bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground causing interference to DEBORAH ROSE, ON DECK and ODD SOX.  BUCKLED checked off the heels of SCOTTIE’S GIRL and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight.  PROSPECT raced wide in the home straight.

6.

HICKMOTT’S CARPENTRY MAINT 4/5th GRADE 498M

LIBERTY LEGS was the best to begin.  BON ECHO was slow to begin.  ASA EXTREME checked off THANK YOU POP and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to MONKEY’S UNCLE, MAYWYN OODLES and VELOCITY KYZON.  MAYWYN OODLES shifted out and bumped ASA EXTREME on the turn into the front straight resulting in ASA EXTREME becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

 

Stewards questioned the racing manners of MAYWYN OODLES in particular on the turn into the front straight.  After viewing the film and speaking with trainer, M. Fusco, MAYWYN OODLES was stood down from racing for a period of three months and the completion of a satisfactory trial under the provisions of GAR 69.1 for marring (second offence).

EASTER SPRINT TROPHY HEAT 1 380M

Even start with BRIGHT REBEL marginally slow to begin.  AMY’S ELITE and WHERE’S BLOCKER were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  SINDARYN checked off COSMIC PAULY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  WHERE’S BLOCKER and SINDARYN bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

ROCKET’S MAGIC was the best to begin.  CRUSHED ICE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

DOUG WARRINGTON 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with TOKALON HOTSHOT slow to begin.

 

JACOBITE PHANTOM, STREAKS OF GOLD and VELOCITY AIM were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

WIND TRACKER and BOOTYDO were the best to begin.  SNAKE PROOF was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  GUNNADOO RACER checked off CARMOR CONFUSION and lost ground in the back straight.  WIND TRACKER checked off RAZOR ROSE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to BOOTYDOO, VAPOUR FLIGHT and SPRING CLOVER.  WIND TRACKER and RAZOR ROSE raced wide in the home straight.
