Trial 1 – 498m The greyhound RAISE ‘EM UP performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 498m in a time of 29.43 and
is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich and after 5 May 2016. |

MEAWTS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M PINK CADILLAC was the best to begin. PRANCING MISS was slow to begin. PINK CADILLAC checked off DIAMOND OLLIE and
lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. PRANCING MISS raced wide into the home
straight. |

FRESH SEAFOODS MAIDEN 380M VELOCITY HEZZA was the best to
begin. GIVEAWAY LASS, STORM BREAKER
and DANCE ON FIRE were slow to begin. LISTEN
CAPTAIN checked off CRACKLIN’ ROSIE and lost ground on the turn out of the
back straight causing interference to DANCE ON FIRE. STORM BREAKER checked off the heels of
DANCE ON FIRE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. GIVEAWAY LASS raced wide into the home
straight. |

TOWNSVILLE EARTHMOVING NOVICE 380M Even
start. General tightening occurred in
the back straight resulting in GAGAN LASSOO, RAIL GUN and OSCAR TANGO being
checked and losing ground. NEVILLE
ROSE checked off the heels of BIG BAD BLOCKER and lost ground on the turn out
of the back straight. HOLIER THAN THOU
and FARMOR KABOOM bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in
interference to OSCAR TANGO and FAWN DRAGON.
FAWN DRAGON improved on to the heels of FARMOR KABOOM resulting in
both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and FARMOR KABOOM bumping HOLIER THAN
THOU. |

GRADE 380M Even start with SCOTTIE’S GIRL slow
to begin. OUR MADAM checked off
BOOTYDO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. BOOTYDO checked off ASA EL CHAPPO and lost
ground after turning out of the back straight. |

LORRAINE
HEATH 5th GRADE 380M Even start. SWEET TALKIN GAL was tightened for racing
room and lost ground shortly after the start.
General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight
resulting in the entire field being inconvenienced with the exception of
VELOCITY AIM. General tightening
occurred approaching the turn into the front straight resulting in ABRAHAM
KEEPING, ZIPPING BUBBA, TOMMY MARKTU and JESSICA’S MONEY all being severely
checked and SWEET TALKIN GAL falling.
The five greyhounds were inspected by the veterinarian who reported no
abnormalities to ZIPPING BUBBA and TOMMY MARKTU. SWEET TALKIN GAL had an off hip muscle
injury, ABRAHAM KEEPING a near hip leg muscle injury and JESSICA’S MONEY a off hind leg muscle injury. |

PANDO’S GREYHOUND COMPLEX 4/5th
GRADE 498M Trainer H. Ardle was fined $50 under
the provisions of GAR 48 for failing to have a catcher present in the
catching pen by the appointed time for CYCLONE ROSIE. Even start with GUNNADOO COBRA slow
to begin. LIBERTY LEGS shifted in from
a wide position shortly after the start tightening CYCLONE ROSIE in on to
MONKEY’S UNCLE in on to PEPPA PIG CLOUD on to DEBORAH ROSIE resulting in
DEBORAH ROSIE losing ground and MONKEY’S UNCLE and CYCLONE ROSIE becoming
unbalanced and losing ground. SPUDNUT
and MONKEY’S UNCLE bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in
MONKEY’S UNCLE losing ground back on to CYCLONE ROSIE causing CYCLONE ROSIE
to fall. CYCLONE ROSIE was inspected
by the veterinarian who reported no abnormalities. |

HEATH 4th GRADE 380M MOO MOO
was the best to begin. ZIPPING CARLTON
checked off KEZZA’S SPIRIT and lost ground shortly after the start. CHIEF START checked off KEZZA’S SPIRIT and
lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in ZIPPING
CARLTON, ON DECK and TANGI MION being inconvenienced. ON DECK and TANGI MION bumped on the turn
into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and
losing ground. RAZOR ROSE raced wide
in the home straight. |

GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 4th GRADE 380M Even start. BRIGHT REBEL, ODD SOX and MAGIC CHAOS were
tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. ODD SOX checked off MAGIC CHAOS and lost
ground approaching the turn out of the back straight. |

GRADE 380M FACE TIME was the best to begin. BUCKLED lost ground approaching the turn
out of the back straight to finish last.
A veterinary inspection revealed an off dew claw injury. RHONDA’S DYNO raced wide into the home
