MEATS TOWNSILLE MAIDEN 380M Even start. ARMADA was tightened for racing room and
lost ground shortly after the start.
REBELETTE shifted out and raced wide on the turn into the home
straight forcing SIR REGINALD and I’M OUTTA HERE to
race wide. I’M OUTTA HERE shifted in
in the front straight bumping SIR REGINALD, resulting in both greyhounds
becoming unbalanced and losing ground and causing interference to REBELETTE. The greyhound SIR REGINALD was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood
down for a period of 7 days. |

PANDELAKIS NOVICE 380M The start of this race was delayed
due to interstate racing. FAWN DRAGON was best to begin with
MACCA MADE US and FARMOR BRING IT slow to begin. ABRAHAM KEEPING checked off the heels of
I’M A GIFT and lost ground in the back straight resulting in interference to
MIDNIGHT EDITION. I’M A GIFT checked
off the heels of MACCA MADE US and lost ground on the turn out of the back
straight resulting in interference to MIDNIGHT EDITION. FARMOR BRING IT and FAWN DRAGON bumped
entering the home straight. |

JUST PERFECT KITCHENS NOVICE 380M Even
start. RAISE
‘EM UP checked off the hindquarters of KNOCKIN’ BLUE on the turn out of the
back straight resulting in RAISE ‘EM UP losing ground sharply back onto
LISTEN CAPTAIN who fell causing interference to JASPER ROSE resulting in ROAD
STAR and FREYA DANE falling. The greyhound LISTEN CAPTAIN was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ROAD STAR was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound FREYA DANE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off hind leg and was humanely euthanised. |

CONVEYOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES 5th
GRADE 380M COSMIC FREEZE was best to
begin. ODD SOX was tightened for
racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. CYCLONE ROSIE was tightened for racing room
and lost ground in the back straight.
CAWBOURNE HAZARD checked off the heels of VELOCITY AIM and lost ground
on the turn out of the back straight.
CAWBOURN HAZARD continued to lose ground appearing injured and took no
further competitive part in the race.
BRIGHT REBEL and PA TING bumped on the turn into the home straight
resulting in BRIGHT REBEL becoming unbalanced and losing ground. ODD SOX and BRIGHT REBEL bumped in the
front straight resulting in BRIGHT REBEL shifted out and checking off the
heels of PA TING. The greyhound CAWBOURNE HAZARD was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore tricep and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

& TINA DODD 4/5th GRADE 380M Even start. KEZZA’S SPIRIT was tightened for racing
room and lost ground shortly after the start.
PEPPA PIG CLOUD and CARLYLE TYCOON bumped on the turn out of the back
straight resulting in CARLYLE TYCOON losing ground. BLUEFIRE CHALICE and FARMOR KNOCKA’S bumped
on the turn into the home straight resulting in FARMOR KNOCKA’S becoming
unbalanced, shifting out bumping PHOTO BOOTH out onto PEPPA PIG CLOUD,
resulting in both PHOTO BOOTH and PEPPA PIG CLOUD becoming unbalanced and
losing ground. PEPPA PIG CLOUD was
forced to race wide over the concluding stages of the race. |

GRADE 380M FARMOR TO DO was best to begin. COBBIN and RAZOR ROSE were marginally slow
to begin. COBBIN checked off the heels
of VERY SPRITELY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight
resulting in interference to PRINCE OF DOOM.
VERY SPRITELY shifted out on the turn into the home straight checking
across the heels of WHAT’S FOREVER resulting in some inconvenience to
FREDRIK. RAZOR ROSE raced wide in the
home straight. |

MOTHERS DAY TROPHY 4/5th GRADE 498M PATJACK LOMAR was best to
begin. VELOCITY KYZON was slow to
begin. PATJACK LOMAR crossed from a
wide position approaching the 1st turn after the start tightening
JESSICA’S MONEY in onto VELOCITY KYZON onto STREAKS OF GOLD onto MAGIC CHAOS,
resulting in PATJACK LOMAR and JESSICA’S MONEY falling and causing
interference to VELOCITY KYZON, LIBERTY LEGS, THANK YOU POP and MID WESTERN
GIRL. MAGIC CHAOS and VELOCITY KYZON
bumped in the home straight resulting in some inconvenience to VELOCITY
KYZON. The greyhound JESSICA’S MONEY was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PATJACK LOMAR was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

were best to begin. BON ECHO, RHONDA’S
DYNO and GUNNADOO COBRA were slow to begin.
RHONDA’S DYNO and GUNNADOO COBRA bumped approaching the 1st
turn after the start resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and
losing ground. ASA EL CHAPPO and
SPUDNUT bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in ASA EL CHAPPO
losing some ground, resulting in TAKE THE NIGHT racing onto the heels of ASA
EL CHAPPO and losing ground causing interference to FACE TIME. TAKE THE NIGHT checked off the heels of
FACE TIME and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight. RHONDA’S DYNO race wide in the home
straight. |

to fall, also resulting in FARMOR GREENIES and DIXIE RHYTHM falling. The greyhound ZIPPER STAR was vetted

GENERAL
Stewards opened an
inquiry into a complaint lodged by licencee Tarquin Neal in relation to the conduct of licencees R Lawdorn and Rhonda
Goodwin on Tuesday 26 April 2016 outside the main office building. After hearing evidence from the persons
concerned stewards charged Mr. R Lawdorn
under GAR 86 (q) for conduct unbecoming that of a licencee.
The specifics of the charge being that his conduct was
detrimental to the image of greyhound racing. Mr. Lawdorn offered no plea to the charge and was subsequently
found guilty and was fined $200.
Stewards advised trainer R Goodwin that her conduct was bordering on
being detrimental and reminded her of her obligations in relation to a licencee and a club committee person.
