ANGLISS
MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M PINK CADILLAC and MADAGASTER both
began well. ARMADA, PARTY FOR TWO and
RUN ZAHLI all dwelt at the start. Approaching
the top turn RUN ZAHLI was checked and lost ground. Through the top turn ZAMBEZI GIRL was
checked after improving onto the heels of RUN ZAHLI. |

BINKS
& MARLE WALKER NOVICE 380M ZOEY’S FRIEND was slowly away. FARMOR BRING IT was checked in the back
straight. Approaching the top turn
ZIPPER IT MACCA shifted in onto the running of CRACKLIN’ ROSIE. As a result CRACKLIN’ ROSIE dropped back
onto the running of JASPER ROSE. Both
greyhounds were checked severely and lost ground. MIDNIGHT EDITION and FARMOR BRING IT were
both wide at the home turn. FAWN DRAGON was wide for the majority of the
event. |

NQ MARINA FRESH SEAFOODS NOVICE 380M KNOCKIN’
BLUE and MACCA MADE US were both slowly away. Soon after the start JESSICA’S MONEY lost
ground when tightened between runners. Approaching the top turn ASA TOP AGENT and
MACCA MADE US were both severely checked. MACCA MADE US lost significant ground. BEHM and ABRAHAM KEEPING were both wide at
the home turn. The
greyhound JESSICA’S MONEY which was vetted post race was found to have
sustained a back injury in running and was stood down for a period of 7 days. When
questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance of the greyhound
SWEET TALKIN’ GAL, Trainer Mr. H Hovi stated that he had given the greyhound,
which had suffered interference in running at recent starts, a 3 week break
from racing as a freshen up. Mr. Hovi
also advised that recent trials had been pleasing and he had expected a
forward showing. |

THE BREAKTHROUGH GROUP 5th
GRADE 380M SHINEY THINGS and COSMIC FREEZE both
began well. MISS GRAND THEFT lost
ground when tightened between runners soon after the start. Approaching the top turn TANGI MION shifted
in checking the running of THANK YOU POP which lost ground. MISS GRAND THEFT which was following was
also checked. Soon after THANK YOU POP
shifted out across the heels of I’M ALICE onto the running of FARMOR
KNOCKA’S. THANK YOU POP and FARMOR
KNOCKA’S were both severely checked and raced wide. The greyhound THANK YOU POP was
vetted post race and no abnormalities were detected. |

BRETT
WELSH 4/5th GRADE 380M VELOCITY AIM and FARMOR TO DO both
began well. GAGAN ELL, ASA ENSEE FLY
and RAZOR ROSE all dwelt at the start. General tightening at the top turn resulted
in interference to the running of VELOCITY AIM, ASA ENSEE FLY, FREDRIK,
FARMOR TO DO and PEPPA PIG CLOUD. RAZOR
ROSE and FARMOR TO DO were racing tight and bumping at the home turn. Due to a technical issue no time was
recorded for this event. |

ROSSVALE FISH & BURGER BAR 5th
GRADE HEAT 1 498M ASA EL CHAPPO, GUNNADOO COBRA and
BON ECHO all dwelt at the start. Through the catching pen VELOCITY KYZON was
inconvenienced when tightened between runners. ASA EL CHAPPO and GUNNADOO COBRA were both
wide through the back straight. Approaching
the top turn VERY SPRITELY shifted in onto the running of PATJACK LOMAR. Both greyhounds were severely checked.
KEZZA’S SPIRIT and ASA EL CHAPPO which were following were also checked. PATJACK LOMAR and VERY SPRITELY were racing
tight and bumping at the home turn. |

BURNETT
FAMILY 5th GRADE HEAT 2 498M MAGIC CHAOS and LISTEN CAPTAIN came
together soon after the start. LISTEN
CAPTAIN lost ground. FACE TIME was
wide through the back straight. Through the top turn FACE TIME shifted in
checking the running of STREAKS OF GOLD. Down the running ELUSIVE DIVA shifted out
across the running of MAGIC CHAOS. The greyhound LISTEN CAPTAIN was
vetted post race and no abnormalities were detected. |

IN MEMORY OF BRIAN PEASE BEST 8 380M POISED TO POUNCE lost
ground when tightened between runners soon after the start. Approaching the top turn POISED TO POUNCE
lost further ground when tightened to the inside of AMY’S ELITE which was
shifting in. Through the top turn
DIVVY UP shifted out onto the running of KERRIE’S A MINX. Both greyhounds were unbalanced. |

KAREN
& SUNNY OLSEN 5th GRADE 380M JACOBITE PHANTOM began well. MISTIFIDE, SPRING CLOVER and FARMOR GREENIES
were all tightened for running soon after the start. Through the back straight EBONY SPECIAL
shifted out onto the running of FARMOR GREENIES and ON DECK, both of which
were checked. FARMOR GREENIES lost
significant ground. At the home turn
MISTIFIDE checked off the heels of ON DECK. |

BARN 5th GRADE 380M TAKE THE NIGHT lost ground when
tightened between runners soon after the start. Through the back straight BIG BAD BLOCKER
shifted in checking the running of FARMOR KABOOM. Approaching the top turn AT THE NECK shifted
in checking the running of MAGIC BEAU and BIG BAD BLOCKER. Through the top turn VELOCITY LAVINIA
shifted in checking the running of BIG BAD BLOCKER. Approaching the home turn FARMOR KABOOM
checked out across the heels of BIG BAD BLOCKER. |
