RACE REPORTS

1.	ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M RUN ZAHLI and ALWAYS A DIVA both began well. Through the back straight CORONA MISS shifted in checking the running of GIVEAWAY LASS which lost ground. Through the top turn CHARLOTTE’S MISS shifted in checking the running of CORONA MISS. NORTHUMBERLAND which was following was also inconvenienced. ALWAYS A DIVA was wide for the majority of the event.

2.	BOHLE BARN NOVICE 380M LISTEN CAPTAIN was best to begin. SWIFT BERNARD was slowly away. Approaching the top turn PEARSON PRIDE lost ground when tightened between runners. PERFECT SISTER, CRACKLIN’ ROSIE and KNOCKA SHEEHAN were all checked at the top turn. LISTEN CAPTAIN shifted wide on straightening.

3.	RHONDA’S RACING MASTERS 380M JACOBITE PHANTOM was best to begin. BREMER was slowly away. Approaching the top turn MIDNIGHT EDITION lost ground when tightened between runners. BREMER and PHOTO BOOTH came together at the top turn. PHOTO BOOTH became unbalanced. MISS GRAND THEFT was wide for the majority of the event.

4.	SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5^th GRADE 380M FARMOR BRING IT was slowly away. Soon after the start MADAGASTER lost ground when tightened between runners. Approaching the top turn SHOUT ROYALE commenced to lose ground when in clear running and took no further competitive part in the event from that point. MADAGASTER and SINGLE SHOT came together at the top turn. SINGLE SHOT became unbalanced. FARMOR BRING IT shifted wide on straightening. The greyhound SHOUT ROYALE which was vetted post race was found to have sustained a nearside hind leg injury in running and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

5.	MATTHEW MONAGHAN 4/5^th GRADE 380M DIAMOND OLLIE was slowly away. Approaching the top turn FACE TIME shifted out checking the running of COSMIC MARLOW. PA TING which was following was also checked. Through the top turn COSMIC MARLOW and PA TING came together. Both greyhounds lost ground. STREAKS OF GOLD was wide at the home turn.

6.	BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 4^th GRADE 380M Even start. Shortly after jumping PEPPA PIG CLOUD and BRUTON MISS both lost ground when tightened between runners.

7.	CHURCH’S DISPOSAL STORE 5^th GRADE FINAL 498M The greyhound CRUSHED ICE which was vetted pre race was passed fit to start. BON ECHO and VELOCITY KYZON were both slowly away. Entering the catching pen CABARET TONIGHT shifted in tightening the running of CRUSHED ICE and ASA EL CHAPPO. BON ECHO which was following was checked. Leaving the catching pen NEVILLE ROSE was checked when tightened between runners. Entering the back straight RHONDA’S DYNO shifted in checking the running of RAISE ‘EM UP.

8.	BIG HAMMER BUILDING SUPPLIES BEST 8 380M FROM THE TAP was slowly away. Soon after the start SHINEY THINGS and MOO MOO both lost ground when tightened between runners. Shortly after KERRIE’S A MINX shifted in severely checking the running of POISED TO POUNCE which lost ground. Approaching the top turn MOO MOO was severely checked losing significant ground. At the home turn SHOT OF CAIN and SHINEY THINGS came together heavily. Both greyhounds became unbalanced. The greyhound SHINEY THINGS was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.

9.	GREENSCENE FENCING & PAVING 5^th GRADE 380M MACADAM and LIBERTY LEGS both dwelt at the start. SPRING CLOVER was slowly away. Through the back straight FARMOR TO DO shifted in checking the running of OUR MADAM which lost significant ground.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE 5^th GRADE 380M Even start. Approaching the top turn ZAMBEZI GIRL and I’M A GIFT were both severely checked losing significant ground. VELOCITY LAVINIA was also hampered. Through the top turn ABRAHAM KEEPING shifted out across the heels of PINK CADILLAC and raced wide for the remainder of the event. PINK CADILLAC and I’M A GIFT were both checked at the home turn. ZAMBEZI GIRL was wide on straightening.
