Stewards Trial 1 – 498m The greyhound
GUNNADOO COBRA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
498m in a time of 29.24 and is now cleared all tracks. |

MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M CHILL
JILL was best to begin and PRANCING MISS was slow to begin. DIAMOND FIESTA was tightened for racing
room and lost some ground shortly after the start. ALWAYS A DIVA and MISS BEAST bumped on the
turn out of the back straight resulting in MISS BEAST losing some
ground. CHATAWAY and BUNDY GIRL bumped
on the turn out of the back straight resulting in BUNDY GIRL being checked
and losing ground causing interference to CHILL JILL and REBELETTE. ALWAYS A DIVA checked off the heels of MISS
BEAST and lost ground on the turn into the home straight. PRANCING MISS and MISS BEAST bumped
entering the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced
and losing ground. REBELETTE and
CHATAWAY raced wide in the home straight. |

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M Even start with WATCH THE MAGIC and CRACKLIN’ ROSIE
marginally slow to begin. CRACKLIN’
ROSIE was slow into stride as the start was effected. GIVEAWAY LASS and JASPER ROSE bumped in the
back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. WATCH THE MAGIC checked off the heels of
JESSICA’S MONEY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. CHARLOTTE’S MISS checked off the heels of
CRACKLIN’ ROSIE and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight. |

SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5th GRADE 380M SCOTTIE’S
GIRL was best to begin. RUBY’S MAGIC
was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. MACCA MADE US bumped the hindquarters of
BLUE DENALI approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in MACCA
MADE US losing considerable ground.
MIDNIGHT EDITION raced wide into the home straight. ABRAHAM KEEPING and FAMOUS REBEL raced wide
in the home straight. |

FV NAPIER 5th GRADE 498M TEMNICK was best to begin. ARMADA was slow to begin. PATJACK LOMAR checked off the heels of
ATOMIC OPIE and lost ground on the 1st turn after the start
resulting in interference to REBEL CAIN.
TEMNICK checked off the heels of CRUSHED ICE and lost ground on the
turn out of the back straight. The greyhound PATJACK LOMAR underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

VET SERVICES 4/5th GRADE 380M Even start. SPRING
CLOVER was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the
start. CHIEF START was tightened for
racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. KEZZA’S
SPIRIT and SPRING CLOVER bumped on the turn into the front straight. DIAMOND OLLIE and PA TING bumped on the
turn into the front straight resulting in PA TING losing ground. The greyhound PA TING underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

THE SIGN GUYS NQ 5th GRADE 498M CABARET TONIGHT was best to begin. AT THE NECK and ASA ABBANDANDO were slow to
begin. HOUDINI HI, NEVILLE ROSE and
BON ECHO bumped as the start was effected resulting in the 3 greyhounds
losing some ground. ASA ABBANDANDO, AT
THE NECK, BON ECHO and NEVILLE ROSE raced tight on the turn into the back
straight resulting in BON ECHO being checked and losing ground. NEVILLE ROSE became unbalanced and lost
some ground. ASA ABBANDANDO also lost
ground as a result. AT THE NECK
checked off the heels of KERRIE’S A MINX on the turn out of the back straight
resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.
BON ECHO and AT THE NECK bumped on the turn into the home straight
resulting in AT THE NECK losing ground. The greyhound AT THE NECK underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 3/4th
GRADE 380M BOOTYDO was best to begin. RAZOR ROSE checked off the heels of BOOTYDO
and lost considerable ground prior to turning out of the back straight. FACE TIME checked off the heels of ZIPPER
IT MACCA and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in
interference to FROM THE TAP and some inconvenience to RAZOR ROSE. FROM THE TAP checked across the heels of
RAZOR ROSE and lost ground on the turn into the home straight. VELOCITY LAVINIA and FACE TIME bumped in
the home straight resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds. |

ROBERT
OLSEN BEST 8 380M MOO MOO was best to begin. ROCKET’S MAGIC and WHAT’S FOREVER were
marginally slow to begin. WHAT’S
FOREVER checked off the heels of MOO MOO and lost ground in the back straight
resulting in interference to ROCKET’S MAGIC.
MOO MOO was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back
straight. The greyhound ROCKET’S MAGIC underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound GAGAN ELL underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

ENGIREERING 5th GRADE 380M THANK YOU POP was best to begin. FREDRIK checked off the heels of THANK YOU
POP and lost some ground back onto MISS GRAND THEFT who became unbalanced
bumping BUENOS CLOUD resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground
causing interference to PRODIGY and ZIPPING CARLTON. ZIPPING CARLTON checked across the
hindquarters of THANK YOU POP and lost ground on the turn into the home
straight. |

HENRY JUDGE 5th
GRADE 380M PRINCE OF DOOM was best to begin. JACOBITE PHANTOM was tightened for racing
room and lost ground in the back straight causing some interference to BRIGHT
REBEL. PRINCE OF DOOM was tightened
for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in
interference to JACOBITE PHANTOM.
ZIPPER STAR checked off the heels of WENEREX and lost ground on the
turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to NORTHUMBERLAND and
BRIGHT REBEL. BRIGHT REBEL and ZIPPER
STAR bumped after turning out of the back straight resulting in BRIGHT REBEL
becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. JACOBITE PHANTOM and ZIPPER STAR bumped on
the turn into the home straight resulting in JACOBITE PHANTOM becoming
unbalanced shifting out forcing ZIPPER STAR to race wide and bumping
NORTHUMBERLAND and also forced that greyhound to race wide resulting in the 3
greyhounds losing considerable ground. |
