Stewards Trial 1 – 380m

The greyhound SWIFT BERNARD performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.27 and is now cleared all tracks.

The greyhound MISS LARDIE DA performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.35.

RACE REPORTS

1.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M Even start with CURRIED SAUSAGE and ZIPPING STAR slow to begin. CHATAWAY checked off MISS BEAST and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to CURRIED SAUSAGE. CURRIED SAUSAGE and VELOCITY HEZZA bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in VELOCITY HEZZA becoming unbalanced and losing ground. CHATAWAY and VELOCITY HEZZA bumped on the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. ALWAYS A DIVA raced wide in the home straight.

2.	FV ARUNTA NOVICE 380M DIAMOND FIESTA was the best to begin. KNOCKA SHEEHAN, PERFECT SISTER and GOJO MOJO were slow to begin. JESSICA’S MONEY checked off DIAMOND FIESTA and lost ground in the back straight resulting in interference to GOJO MOJO. KNOCKA SHEEHAN and PERFECT SISTER bumped in the front straight resulting in KNOCKA SHEEHAN losing ground.

3.	RUBIE OLSEN 5^th GRADE 380M Even start. MIDNIGHT EDITION and DIAMOND OLLIE were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. SCOTTIE’S GIRL and FAMOUS REBEL bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SCOTTIE’S GIRL losing ground and some inconvenience to TAKE THE NIGHT. FERVENT FEVER and TAKE THE NIGHT bumped entering the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. FAMOUS REBEL raced wide in the home straight.

4.	STEPEHN SCHUBERT 5^th GRADE 380M Even start with MACCA MADE US slow to begin and SINGLE SHOT marginally slow to begin. TINIE TEMPAH and SINGLE SHOT were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. SINGLE SHOT checked off MACCA MADE US and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight. LISTEN CAPTAIN and MACCA MADE US bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in LISTEN CAPTAIN losing ground.

5.	MIGGINS RACING 4/5^th GRADE 380M Even start. CHIEF START checked off PA TING and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to FREDRIK. RAZOR ROSE raced wide into and down the home straight.

6.	PEARL OLSEN 3/4^th GRADE 380M Even start. VELOCITY LAVINIA and ASA ENSEE FLY were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. CAWBOURNE HAZARD and ASA ENSEE FLY bumped in the front straight resulting in both greyhound being inconvenienced and racing wide over the concluding stages of the race.

7.	TOWNSVILLE FUTURITY FINAL 498M THANK YOU POP was the best to begin. ARMADA checked off KERRIE’S A MINX and lost ground on the first turn after the start. CABARET TONIGHT checked off SHINEY THINGS and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to CHARLOTTE’S MISS. CYCLONE ROSIE checked off the heels of THANK YOU POP and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

8.	TOWNSVILLE DERBY FINAL 498M SPUDNUT was the best to begin. NEVILLE ROSE was slow to begin. SPUDNUT crossed from a wide position on the first turn after the start tightening PROSPECT on to OBSTRUCTION resulting in OBSTRUCTION losing ground causing interference to ASA EL CHAPPO. Shortly after ROCKET’S MAGIC and TEMNICK bumped resulting in TEMNICK becoming unbalanced causing interference to PROSPECT and ASA EL CHAPPO. NEVILLE ROSE checked off PROSPECT and lost ground prior to entering the back straight. General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SPUDNUT falling and interference to all runners with the exception of ROCKET’S MAGIC.

9.	LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOODS 5^th GRADE 380M Even start with MAGIC CHAOS slow to begin and PRODIGY marginally slow to begin. OUR MADAM checked off MACADAM and lost ground in the back straight. MACADAM and LIBERTY LEGS bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in MACADAM becoming unbalanced and bumping MAGIC CHAOS.

10.	PAUL BURGESS MASTERS 380M PUMA CLOUD was the best to begin. MISS GRAND THEFT and SPRING CLOVER were slow to begin. MISS GRAND THEFT was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.
