Stewards Trial 1 – 380m

The greyhound CHAOTIC MAGIC performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.14.

 

The greyhound FARMOR TO DO performed a satisfactory weight trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.86 and a weight of 36.4

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

VELOCITY HEZZA was the best to begin.  PARIS AUGOGO was slow into stride as the start was affected.  SIR REGINALD checked off OUTA DEBT and lost ground in the back straight.  MAXIMUS HOUDINI was tightened for racing room ad lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight.  MAXIMUS HOUDINI and SIR REGINALD bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SIR REGINALD becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  VELOCITY HEZZA and OUTA DEBT bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in OUTA DEBT racing wide.  MAXIMUS HOUDINI and VELOCITY HEZZA bumped entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  SIR REGINALD checked across the heels of PARIS AUGOGO entering the front straight.  ALWAYS A DIVA raced wide over the concluding stages of the race.

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M

Even start.  CHATAWAY was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  CHARLOTTE’S MISS checked off OLD MATERIAL and lost ground in the back straight.  OLD MATERIAL checked off I’M A GIFT and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to CHATAWAY.  ZAMBEZI GIRL and OLD MATERIAL bumped entering the front straight.

SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5th GRADE 380M

MISS GRAND THEFT was the best to begin.  PRODIGY was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  WENEREX shifted in on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to BLUEFIRE CHALICE and DIAMOND OLLIE resulting in interference to PUMA CLOUD and SCOTTIE’S GIRL.  WENEREX improved on to the heels of VELOCITY AIM after turning out of the back straight.  PRODIGY tailed off to finish a distant last.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed an off wrist injury.

FV NAPIER 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with WATCH THE MAGIC marginally slow to begin.  ZIPPING BUBBA was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  JESSICA’S MONEY and KNOCKA SHEEHAN were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  MUTLEY ON FRIDAY checked off the heels of SINGLE SHOT and lost ground in the back straight.  STILL COMING checked off KNOCKA SHEEHAN and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight.  KNOCKA SHEEHAN checked off EL MALAMUTE and almost fell on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to JESSICA’S MONEY who fell.  STILL COMING raced wide into the home straight forcing MUTLEY ON FRIDAY wide.

 

KNOCKA SHEEAN was inspected by the veterinarian who reported an off hind tibia fracture.  KNOCK SHEEHAN was euthanised by the veterinarian.

BURNETT FAMILY 4/5th GRADE 380m

PATJACK LOMAR was the best to begin.  AT THE NECK was slow to begin.  FREDRIK checked off ASA ENSEE FLY and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight resulting in interference to CRUSHED ICE, RUBY’S MAGIC and BREMER.  CRUSHED ICE and BETOWN GEM bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in BETOWN GEM losing ground.  PATJACK LOMAR and FREDRIK bumped on several occasions entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  AT THE NECK raced wide in the home straight.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 4/5th GRADE 498M

TEMNICK was the best to begin.  VELOCITY KYZON and ARMADA were slow to begin.  BON ECHO checked off ASA ABBANDANDO and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

ROBERT OLSEN 3/4th GRADE 380M

THANK YOU POP was the best to begin.  FACE TIME and MADAGASTER bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in MADAGASTER losing ground causing interference to SPUDNUT.  ZIPPING CARLTON and THANK YOU POP bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in THANK YOU POP losing ground.  EASY OFF raced very wide into the home straight.

ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 5th GRADE 380M

WOOZIE DOOZIE was the best to begin.  MIDNIGHT EDITION checked off ALL BECAUSE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to GUNNADOO TWIST, ASA TOP AGENT and ZIPPING JOKER.  ZIPPING JOKER checked across the heels of NICE NURSE FRANK and raced wide prior to turning into the front straight.  ALL BECAUSE raced wide in the home straight.
