MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M VELOCITY HEZZA was the best to begin. OSPREY LIZ was tightened for racing room
and lost ground shortly after the start.
BOXER BOY improved on to the heels of CORONA MISS on the turn out of the
back straight resulting in CORONA MISS losing ground and BOXER BOY losing
considerable ground. The race results
were judged manually due to a computer fault. |

MAREEBA NOVICE 380M ALLL FUELED UP was the best to begin. CHATAWAY was slow to begin. SIR REGINALD and RONRAY FLAME bumped in the
back straight resulting in SIR REGINALD losing ground. ALWAYS A DIVA raced wide over the
concluding stages of the race. |

CAROL RICHARDS 5th GRADE 380M CABARET
TONIGHT was the best to begin. SPRING
CLOVER was slow to begin. FROM THE TAP
was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. PERFECT SISTER was tightened for racing
room and lost ground approaching the turn into the front straight. FREDRIK shifted out on the turn into the
front straight resulting in interference to SPRING CLOVER. |

MINNIE HEATH 5th GRADE 380M HOLIER THAN THOU was the best to begin. ZIPPING JOKER checked off GLENALLON ZULU
and lost ground in the back straight. SINGLE
SHOT checked off CAPTAIN DJAY and lost ground in the back straight resulting
in interference to FAMOUS REBEL. SINGLE
SHOT tailed off to finish last. A
veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities. Trainer L. Randall was advised that the
performance of the greyhound tonight was bordering on unsatisfactory. |

BARN NQ CUP HEAT 1 498M TEMNICK was the best to begin. NICE NURSE FRANK was slow to begin. MUTLEY ON FRIDAY, KERRIE’S A MINX and
BLUEFIRE CHALICE bumped on the first turn resulting in KERRIE’S A MINX losing
ground. DEBORAH ROSE checked off
BLUEFIRE CHALICE and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting
in interference to NICE NURSE FRANK. ASA
EL CHAPPO checked off BLUEFIRE CHALICE and lost ground prior to entering the
back straight. |

BOHLE BARN NQ CUP HEAT 2 498M Even start.
AT THE NECK, COOPER’S LESSON, ASA ABBANDANDO and VELOCITY AIM all
bumped on the first turn after the start resulting in the four greyhounds
losing ground. VELOCITY AIM checked
off the heels of STREAK OF GOLD on the turn into the back straight resulting
in both greyhounds losing ground. AT
THE NECK checked off the heels of STREAKS OF GOLD and lost ground entering
the back straight. ASA ABBANDANDO
raced wide in the back straight. DENALI
SURE AS tailed off to finish a distant last.
A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no
abnormalities. Trainer L. Randall
advised stewards that the greyhound would not be racing in Townsville again
as she was returning the greyhound to the owner interstate. |

LEGS bumped on the first turn after the start resulting in ROCKET MAGIC
losing ground causing interference to LIBERTY LEGS and ASA EXTREME. ZOE checked off ROCKET MAGIC and lost
considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight. ROCKET MAGIC checked across the heels of
VELOCITY LAVINIA and lost some ground on the turn into the front straight. |

and lost ground shortly after the start.
SOPHIE’S MATE checked off MOO MOO and lost
ground on the turn out of the back straight.
Stewards reviewed the film of the race prior to the ‘ALL CLEAR’ being
semaphored in relation to the position of the lure turning out of the back
straight. Stewards deemed no greyhound
was advantaged or disadvantaged in relation to the position of the lure and
the ‘ALL CLEAR’ was semaphored. |

GRADE 380M MISS GRAND THEFT was the best to begin. CHAOTIC MAGIC and ZIPPING BUBBA bumped on
the turn out of the back straight resulting in ZIPPING BUBBA becoming
unbalanced and checking off the heels of I’M ALICE causing interference to
CHAOTIC MAGIC who fell which resulted in interference to FAMOR GREENIES. |
