SYSTEMS MAIDEN 380M VELOCITY
HEZZA was best to begin with OSPREY LIZ and TOP TELLER slow. Leaving the back straight OSPREY LIZ
improved onto the heels of MAGIC MARY and both greyhounds were significantly
checked. In the turn TOP TELLER
checked off heels. Entering the home straight
CROFTYS CARNAGE, SILVER MOUSE and TOP TELLER collided. The
greyhound CROFTYS CARNAGE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. Stewards outlined to trainer L. Randall some
concerns with the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight; however felt
that there was insufficient video evidence to contemplate a charge against
the greyhound. |

TOWNSVILLE NOVICE 380M I’M A GIFT was best to begin while RONRAY FLAME and
PEARSON PRIDE were slow. In the back
straight MISS BEAST was tightened.
Approaching the top turn ABRAHAM KEEPING and I’M A GIFT came together
and were impeded. WILDASH DIDDY which
was following was forced to race wide as a result. ABRAHAM KEEPING and WILDASH DIDDY were wide
in the home straight. PEARSON PRIDE
and RONRAY FLAME came together in the home straight. |

KERRIE’S A MINX collided and were unbalanced.
Entering the back straight STILL COMING checked off heels and forced
KERRIE’S A MINX wide as a result.
Leaving the back straight PUMA CLOUD was tightened and lost
significant ground. The greyhound PUMA CLOUD underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

slow. Entering the turn SPUDNUT
improved onto the heels of FARMOR GREENIES and both greyhounds were checked
and lost ground. Through the turn
NEVILLE ROSE checked off the heels of BLUEFIRE CHALICE and collided with
MADAGASTER. Shortly after, BLUEFIRE
CHALICE and SPUDNUT collided causing BLUEFIRE CHALICE to lose ground. |

with the starting boxes. METRO MAN was best to begin whilst TANGI MION was slowly
away. Shortly after the start MOO MOO
was tightened. Leaving the back
straight BOOTYDO Improved onto the heels of WOOZIE DOOZIE and both greyhounds
became unbalanced. MOO MOO which was
following was hampered. Entering the
turn TANGI MION improved onto the heels of FACE TIME and both greyhounds were
inconvenienced. Entering the home
straight MOO MOO shifted wide hampering WOOZIE DOOZIE. |

THRILLA STROKE was slow. In the back
straight BLACK MASS was tightened as RAMBO RITSON shifted out. Entering the home straight RAMBO RITSON
checked off heels and raced wide. The greyhound BEAMING BOUNCER
underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered
an injury to the near fore toe webbing and was stood down for a period of 10
days. |

GRADE 380M CABARET TONIGHT was best to begin while FANTASY FOX was
slowly away. Approaching the 1st
turn BRIGHT REBEL shifted in tightening FANTASY FOX, both greyhounds were
inconvenienced and FANTASY FOX lost significant ground. SINGLE SHOT which was following was also
hampered. Through the turn FROM THE
TAP was hampered on the heels of CABARET TONIGHT. The greyhound SINGLE SHOT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
