MARTIAL failed a stewards’ trial over the distance of 380m. |

MEATS MAIDEN 380M INNOCENT
MAN, SKY LARK and VELOCITY HEZZA were all well away while BLOCKER’S ANGEL
began awkwardly. In the turn BOXER BOY and WILDASH FRED came together causing
BOXER BOY to lose ground. In the home
straight SKY LARK checked off heels. |

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M GO GWAN was slow to begin. Approaching the turn SLOW DANCER improved
onto the heels of JASPER ROSE and both greyhounds were checked and lost
ground. Shortly after, ELITE AND BLACK
was tightened and lost ground as FLYING MAGNUM shifted out. Entering the turn RONRAY FLAME and GO GWAN
collided causing GO GWAN to lose ground.
Through the turn ELITE AND BLACK was tightened. The greyhound JASPER ROSE underwent a post
race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SCOOPS FISH & CHIPS 5th GRADE 380M WORLD’S
GREATEST was best to begin while SCOTTIE’S GIRL was slowly away. Shortly after the start BURNER BANT and MAX
ROCKET were tightened. VELOCITY AIM
checked off heels in the back straight and in the top turn. In the home straight SCOTTIE’S GIRL was
tightened. |

FV NAPIER 5th GRADE 380M SMOOTH FLAME was best to begin. Shortly after the start COLLISION COURSE,
MCMURPHY and CAPTAIN DJAY were tight causing MCMURPHY to lose ground. Approaching the top turn COLLISION COURSE
improved onto the heels of RONRAY BULLET and in doing so fell taking no
further competitive part in the event.
As a result RONRAY BULLET was severely
checked and took no further competitive part in the event. MCMURPHY, CAPTAIN DJAY and SIR REGINALD
which were following were hampered as a result of this incident. The greyhound COLLISION COURSE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found. The greyhound RONARY BULLET underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 10
days. The greyhound MCMURPHY underwent a post
race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off metacarpal and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

BURDEKIN
VET SERVICES 5th GRADE 380M ALL FUELED UP was best to begin while SPRING CLOVER was
slowly away. Approaching the 1st
turn CYCLONE ROSIE, MACADAM and UNIVERAL ONE were all tightened with CYCLONE
ROSIE losing significant ground. |

BURNETT FAMILY 3/4th GRADE 380M Even start. Shortly
after the start BIG BOY BATINA was tightened and lost ground. Approaching the turn FACE TIME and TEMNICK
collided causing both greyhounds to fall and take no further competitive part
in the event. PEPPA PIG CLOUD and BIG
BOY BATINA were severely checked as a result.
Shortly after, BLUEFIRE CHALICE checked off heels and lost ground. The greyhound FACE TIME underwent a post
race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TEMNICK underwent a post
race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near hind flexor tendon and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 5th
GRADE 498M NOVA PARTY was slow to begin. In the 1st turn MAXIMUS HOUDINI,
AMARDA, SAINT’S CHARM and NOVA PARTY were all tightened, causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. Entering
the home straight NOVA PARTY checked off heels. |

ROBERT
OLSEN 4th GRADE 380M LIBERTY LEGS was well away while
DIAMOND OLLIE and FARMOR GREENIES were slow to begin. Entering the turn WOOZIE DOOZIE was
tightened between TOMMY MARKTU and PUMA CLOUD and lost ground, taking no
further competitive part in the event.
Entering the home straight PUMA CLOUD checked off heels. The greyhound WOOZIE DOOZIE underwent
a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the off hind tarsal and was stood down for a
period of 28 days. |

ENGINEERING 5th GRADE 380M GLENALLON ZULU and MISS BEAST were best to begin. Approaching the top turn ALWAYS A DIVA,
SINGLE SHOT and GLENALLON ZULU were tight causing GLENALLON ZULU to shift
wide through the turn. ABRAHAM KEEPING
was wide entering the home straight.

HENRY JUDGE 5th
GRADE 380M EASY OFF was best to begin while RUBY’S MAGIC, WILDASH
REV and CHARLOTTE’S MISS were slowly away.
Through the turn RUBY’S MAGIC and MIDNIGHT EDITION were tight and
unbalanced causing MIDNIGHT EDITION to shift out and check the running of
MARG’S MEMORY which was forced wide entering the home straight as a result. The greyhound MIDNIGHT EDITION underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off metacarpal and was stood down for a period of
10 days. |
