TRIALS

Stewards Trial 1 – 380m

The greyhound WATCH THE MAGIC performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.19 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

The greyhound VAL’S MAGIC performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.54.

 

The greyhound SHOUT ROYALE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.63.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

ANGLISS MEATS MAIDEN 380M

SUGAR HIT AIVAH and VELOCITY HEZZA were the best to begin.  General tightening occurred shortly after the start resulting in BORTHER ROB, ZIPPING OUTLAW and GO PRANCER GO losing ground.  WILDASH ONE DAY lost ground in the back straight and tailed off to finish a distant last.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed a near fore metacarpal injury.  ZIPPING OUTLAW checked off the heels of VELOCITY HEZZA on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  GO PRANCER GO and FLYING MOZZIE bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

SANDRA MCCORMICK NOVICE 380M

Even start.  WILDASH DIDDY was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  PALE FACE SCOTCH checked off I’M ELITE CLASS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to JASPER ROSE.  PALE FACE SCOTCH raced wide in the front straight.

NQ MARINA SEAFOOD 5th GRADE 380M

RHONDA’S SEA was the best to begin.  ZIPPING JOKER was slow to begin.  CAPTAIN DJAY was marginally slow to begin.  SUPERFORMANCE checked off INNOCENT MAN and lost ground in the back straight.  ZIPPING JOKER and SKY LARK raced wide in the front straight.

GRANNY GARROW 5th GRADE HEAT 1 498M

Even start with NEVILLE ROSE slow to begin.  BURNER BANT checked off RONRAY BULLET tightening BURNER BANT in on to DIAMOND FIESTA in on to VELOCITY LAVINIA on to MANHATTAN MAID shortly after the start resulting in DIAMOND FIESTA and BURNER BANT losing ground causing interference to CABARET TONIGHT and NEVILLE ROSE.  DIAMOND FIESTA raced wide in the back straight and again in the front straight.

KOOLOOP COLLARS 5th GRADE HEAT 2 498M

Even start.  General tightening occurred on the first turn after the start resulting in RHONDA’S DYNO and MISS BEAST losing ground.  AMARDA was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  SIR REGINALD and RONRAY FLAME bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground and RONRAY FLAME becoming unbalanced causing some inconvenience to FLYING MAGNUM who lost ground to finish last,  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed an off hind muscle injury.  RHONDA’S DYNO raced wide in the front straight.

ROBERT LAWDRON 4/5th GRADE 380M

PATJACK LOMAR was the best to begin.  FANCY RED checked off BACK STREET BOY on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 4th GRADE 380M

WORLD’S GREATEST was the best to begin.  AMY’S ELITE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  WORLD’S GREATEST was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  FREDRIK checked off the heels of VINDICATION and lost ground just prior to the finish line.

BURNETT FAMILY 3/4th GRADE 380M

Even start.  ZIPPING CARLTON was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  SPUDNUT and BERISHA bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  BERISHA checked off THRILLA STROKE and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  OMEGA CLOVER tailed off to finish a distant last.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.  Trainer Jon Forster was advised that the performance of the greyhound was bordering on unsatisfactory and a warning was issued.

LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOODS 5th GRADE 380M

VELOCITY AIM was the best to begin.  SENORITA REGINA was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  UNIVERSAL ONE checked off CYCLONE ROSIE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

JUST PERFECT KITCHENS 5th GRADE 380M

MISS GRAND THEFT was the best to begin.  PERFECT SISTER was slow to begin.  PERFECT SISTER checked off MISS GRAND THEFT and fell on the turn out of the back straight, A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.  SINGLE SHOT checked across the heels of THANK YOU POP and lost some ground on the turn into the front straight.  EL MALAMUTE raced wide into the front straight.
