ANGLISS MEATS MAIDEN 380M

FLYING MOZZIE was best to begin while ARTS and PARIS AUGOGO were slowly away.  In the back straight MR. MERVE improved onto the heels of FLYING MOZZIE causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  ARTS and OILS AIN’T OILS which were following were hampered as a result.

BOHLE BARN HOTEL & MOTEL NOVICE 380M

GO PRANCER GO was best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn OVERRULED and PEARSON PRIDE checked off heels and were unbalanced.  In the 1st turn OVERRULED checked off heels.  Entering the home straight SUGAR HIT AIVAH and BARCIA’S HUNT collided causing SUGAR HIT AIVAH to check off heels and lose ground.

DOUG WARRINGTON 5th GRADE 380M

STREAKS OF GOLD and SCOTTIE’S GIRL were best to begin while LITTLE MAKRIL, SPRING CLOVER and GAGAN NANCY were slowly away.  Approaching the 1st turn STREAKS OF GOLD was tightened and lost ground.  Shortly after, WATCH THE MAGIC, LITTLE MAKRIL, SPRING CLOVER and GAGAN NANCY all collided and were unbalanced resulting in LITTLE MAKRIL and SPRING CLOVER losing significant ground.  In the top turn CABARET TONIGHT was tightened.  LITTLE MAKRIL and GAGAN NANCY collided entering the home straight.

TELLA PHOTOGRAPHY 4/5th GRADE 380M

ZIPPING CARTLON was best to begin while MAYWYN ACCOLADES and NOVA PARTY were slowly away.  Shortly after the start NOVA PARTY was tightened and lost ground.  In the back straight MAGIC MILLAH checked off heels.  Shortly after, NOVA PARTY and OLD MATERIAL collided.  Approaching the top turn ZIPPING CARLTON was tightened.  Shortly after, EL MALAMUTE and MADAGASTER collided causing MADAGASTER to lose ground.  In the top turn ZIPPING CARLTON was tightened as MAYWYN ACCOLADES shifted in.

RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 498M

TOP TELLER was best to begin.  Immediately after the start BROTHER ROB was tightened and lost ground.  Entering the back straight WHATTA PASS and GO GWAN came together.  In the top turn WHATTA PASS and TOP TELLER bumped.  Entering the home straight TOP TELLER was checked as WHATTA PASS shifted out.

RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 498M

SLOW DANCER was best to begin while SUPERFORMANCE was slowly away.  In the 1st turn SUPERFORMANCE, SAINT’S CHARM and CHIPS AHOY all raced tight and became unbalanced.  Entering the home straight RONRAY FLAME and ARE JAY DEE collided causing both greyhounds to becoming unbalanced and ARE JAY DEE to lose ground.  Shortly after, CHIPS AHOY checked off heels.

TARQUIN NEAL 4/5th GRADE 498M

IT’S HIS JOB, BLACK AS TAR and MUTLEY ON FRIDAY were slow to begin.  In the 1st turn LIBERTY LEGS and CRUSHED ICE raced tight.  Shortly after, BLACK AS TAR checked off heels.  Entering the back straight CRUSHED ICE was tightened and lost ground.

WEE WIN KENNELS 3/4th GRADE 380M

Even start. In the back straight VELOCITY AIM was tightened and lost ground and BLUEFIRE CHALICE which was following was hampered.  Approaching the top turn ATOMIC OPIE improved onto the heels of FARMOR GREENIES causing both greyhounds to be checked and AMY’S ELITE and THEY WATCH which were following were also inconvenienced.  In the top turn AMY’S ELITE and BLUEFIRE CHALICE were tightened and lost ground.

NATHAN RICHARDS 5th GRADE 380M

SENORITA REGINA, RHONDA’S SEA and MISS BEAST were best to begin.  In the back straight SMOOTH FLAME improved onto the heels of RHONDA’S SEA and both greyhounds were checked.  Approaching the top turn NO WORRIES BUDDY was tightened and forced to shift out, colliding with RHONDA’S SEA and SMOOTH FLAME and all 3 greyhounds lost ground. TONNY MARKTU which was following was also hampered.  NO WORRIES BUDDY and RHONDA’S SEA collided entering the home straight.

RACHEL & EMILY THOMPSON 5th GRADE 380M

MISS LARDIE DA was best to begin.  Shortly after the start GOLDEN PLANET was tightened and lost ground.  In the back straight MIA MYA MO improved onto the heels of PERFECT SISTER causing MIA MYA MO to fall and take no further part in the event.  GOLDEN PLANET which was following was inconvenienced as a result.  Entering the top turn FANCY RED and HOLIER THAN THOU both checked off heels and lost ground.

 

The greyhound MIA MYA MO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered severe head and neck injuries, resulting in this greyhound being deceased.
