ANGLISS MEATS MAIDEN 380M

Even start.  BELLA SENORITA checked off OILS AIN’T OILS and lost ground in the back straight causing interference to FLYING MOZZIE.  MAPPER’S DELIGHT checked off OILS AIN’T OILS and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to QUEEN OF CAWDOR.  OILS AIN’T OILS and SILVER MOUSE bumped after turning out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MAPPER’S DELIGHT and SILVER MOUSE bumped heavily prior to tuning into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground resulting in interference to FLYING MOZZIE and QUEEN OF CAWDOR.  FLYING MOZZIE checked across the heels of MAPPER’S DELIGHT and bumped OILS AIN’T OILS on the turn into the front straight.

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M

Even start with ZIPPING OUTLAW and NOT A WORD slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to the entire field with the exception of ZAMBEZI GIRL.  LEAD CONTENDER and PALEFACE SCOTCH lost considerable ground as a result.

JACOBITE PHANTOM was a late scratching on veterinary advice.  MAYWYN WILL WIN was the best to begin.  AMY’S ELITE checked off the heels of HOLIER THAN THOU and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  HOLIER THAN THOU also lost considerable ground as a result.  MACADAM checked off MAYWYN WILL WIN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

FV NAPIER 3/4th GRADE 498M

Even start with LIBERTY LEGS slow to begin.  LIBERTY LEGS checked off the heels of ASA ABBANDANDO and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  STREAKS OF GOLD was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 5th GRADE 380M

MISS GRAND THEFT was a late scratching from the race on veterinary advice.  The start of the race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate harness racing.  JASPER ROSE was the best to begin.  PERFECT SISTER was slow to begin.  SMOOTH FLAME and CAPTAIN DJAY bumped on the turn into the front straight.  SUPERFORMANCE shifted out to race wide to the finish forcing MANHATTAN MAID to race wide.

BURNETT FAMILY 5th GRADE 380M

CHIPS AHOY was the best to begin.  UNIVERSAL ONE checked off GOJO MOJO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to RONWAY FLAME.  GOJO MOJO checked off MISS LARDIE DA and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  UNIVERSAL ONE and MISS LARDIE DA bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in MISS LARDIE DA becoming unbalanced and racing wide.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 4th GRADE 380M

FARMOR GREENIES and I’M ALICE were the best to begin.  WATCH THE MAGIC checked off the heels of LIL BIT AWESOME and lost some ground in the back straight.  LIL BIT AWESOME checked off the hind quarters of SKY LARK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  WATCH THE MAGIC was tightened for racing room and checked off GAGAN ELL on the turn into the front straight.

ROBERT OLSEN 3/4th GRADE 380M

Even start with BACK STREET BOY slow to begin.  SCOTTIE’S GIRL lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing some inconvenience to PA TING.  SCOTTIE’S GIRL was inspected by the veterinarian who reported no abnormalities.  Stewards advised the trainer’s representative, Ms G. Thomson, of their concerns in relation to SCOTTIE’S GIRL’s commitment to pursue the lure.  As there was an element of doubt present, the greyhound was afforded the benefit of the doubt and Ms Thomson advised that there may be a problem with the greyhound in the future.

ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 5th GRADE 498M

MAX ROCKET was a late scratching from the race on veterinarian advice.  TANGI MION was the best to begin.  SLOW DANCER was slow to begin.  CRUSHED ICE and WHATTA PASS bumped shortly after the start.  SLOW DANCER was tightened for racing room and checked off BEAMING BOUNCER on the first turn after the start.  TANGI MION and BEAMING BOUNCER bumped on the turn into the front straight.

HENRY JUDGE 5th GRADE 380M

HE TELLS LIES was the best to begin.  VELOCITY AIM was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  TOES checked off BLACK MASS and lost ground in the back straight.  VELOCITY AIM checked off the heels of BLACK MASS and lost ground on the turn  out of the back straight.
