1.	ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M MAPPER’S DELIGHT was the best to begin. ARTHUR’S STEVIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.

2.	FV ARUNTA MAIDEN 380M The lure failed and stopped prior to entering the front straight resulting in a ‘NO RACE’ being declared. All greyhounds in the race were checked by the veterinarian and were found to have no abnormalities.

3.	MIGGINS RACING NOVICE 380M Trainer N. Jackson was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 86 (o) for presenting PARTIAL DEFENCE to race with the incorrect rug which Stewards deemed to be negligent. RIPPING ESCAPE was the best to begin. ZIPPING OUTLAW was marginally slow to begin. DYLAN’S PICK checked off RIPING EXCAPE and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight. PARTIAL DEFENCE and DYLAN’S PICK bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to BARCIA’S HUNT and PREMIER HONEY. DYLAN’S PICK raced wide into and down the front straight.

4.	DOUG MURPHY MEMORIAL 5^th GRADE 380M SMOOTH FLAME was the best to begin. HE TELLS LIES was slow to begin. PASS THE AMMO checked off the heels of GUNNADOO TWIST on the turn out of the back straight resulting in GUNNADOO TWIST becoming unbalanced shifting out and checking off LITTLE MAKRIL and losing considerable ground. HE TELLS LIES and LITTLE MAKRIL bumped on the turn into the front straight.

5.	RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 380M Even start with BACK STREET BOY marginally slow to begin. GO GWAN was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. BURNER BANT and QUEEN OF CAWDOR bumped prior to turning out of the back straight resulting in QUEEN OF CAWDOR losing ground. RIFF checked off the heels of CHIEF BOLT on the turn out of the back straight.

6.	RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 2 380M Even start with ARTS marginally slow to begin. LOTS OF TIME was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. RONRAY BULLET checked off the hind quarters to INNOCENT MAN and become unbalanced causing interference to PALE FACE SCOTCH resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.

7.	RQ YOUNG GUNS HEAT 3 380M SKY LARK and LEAD CONTENDER were the best to begin. BRINDI CHOPPER checked off the heels of WHATTA PASS on the turn out of the back straight resulting in BRINDI CHOPPER losing ground back on to GO PRANCER GO who raced on to the hind quarters of BRINDI CHOPPER causing that greyhound to fall and GO PRANCER GO losing considerable ground. WHATTA PASS shifted out on the turn into the front straight to race wide to the finish.

8.	BOHLE BARN HOTEL MOTEL 3/4^th GRADE 380M Even start with FROM THE TAP marginally slow to begin. DILSTON BRAE checked off GOLD TOTAL and lost ground shortly after the start. SCOTTIE’S GIRL checked off GOLD TOTAL and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight. THEY WATCH checked off CHIPS AHOY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to SOCTTIE’S GIRL and FROM THE TAP.

9.	STEPHEN SCHUBERT 4/5^th GRADE 498M Even start with BROTHER ROB slow to begin. General tightening occurred on the first turn after the start resulting in MUTLEY ON FRIDAY, TANGI MION, DIAMOND FIESTA and LIBERTY LEGS losing ground. TANGI MION continued to lose ground to finish a distant last. A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed a groin muscle injury.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 4/5^th GRADE 380M Even start with BIG SAV slow to begin. AMY’S ELITE checked off BIG SAV and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight. TRAVELLIN’ MAN was tightened for racing room and fell on the turn out of the back straight. VELOCITY AIM checked off the heels of MAYWYN WILL WIN and lost ground after turning out of the back straight. BIG SAV checked across the heels of GAGAN ELL on the turn into the front straight.

11.	LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOODS 5^th GRADE 380M Even start. OLD MATERIAL knuckled over shortly after the start and lost ground. PATJACK LOMAR was tightened for racing room and checked off OLD MATERIAL on the turn out of the back straight.
