MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M MR. MERVE was the best to begin. WILDASH ONE DAY commenced to lose ground on
the turn out of the back straight to finish a distant last. A veterinary inspection of the greyhound
revealed no abnormalities. Stewards
acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood WILDASH ONE DAY down from racing
until the completion of a satisfactory trials for an unsatisfactory
performance. |

FV ARUNTA MAIDEN 380M Stewards reviewed the film of the race prior
to “ALL CLEAR” being semaphored. After
viewing the film, in particular in relation to the lure after turning out of
the back straight, stewards were of the opinion that no greyhound was
advantaged or disadvantaged at this stage of the race and the “ALL CLEAR” was
semaphored. Even start with TARA ROSE slow to begin. SLIPPERY COIN was tightened for racing room
and lost ground shortly after the start.
FLYING MOZZIE was tightened for racing room and lost some ground on
the turn out of the back straight. POPPY
CHOOKY and WINNIE’S ROSE bumped entering the front straight resulting in both
greyhounds losing some ground. |

MIGGINS RACING NOVICE 380M OVERRULED
and OILS AIN’T OILS were the best to begin.
SLIDING DOORS was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the
back straight. OVERRULED checked off
BRINDI CHOPPER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. COOL DE BEERS raced wide in the front
straight. |

FROST & SPARK ELECTRICAL 5th GRADE 380M The start of the race was delayed two minutes
due to lure problems. Even start with
PARIS AUGOGO slow to begin. WILDASH
DIDDY was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. |

BOHLE
BARN HOTEL MOTEL 5th GRADE 380M ASA ABBANDANDO was the best to begin. TRANSACTION was slow to begin. ASA ABBANDANDO was tightened for racing
room and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight
causing interference to GOJO MOJO and WHATTA PASS. TEMNICK checked across the heels of HUCKABEE
and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. |

6 TO 10 WERE ABANDONDED DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL FAULT TO THE LURE DRIVER’S STATION
AND THE JUDGE’S STATION.
THE
PROBLEM COULD NOT BE RECTIFIED ON THE NIGHT AND NO ALTERNATIVE WAS AVAILABLE.
