MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M WICKED EARNER was the best to begin. ROCKET’S BUDDY and RHONDA’S DOUGIE were
slow to begin. TARA ROSE was tightened
for racing room and checked off GOOD PEOPLE shortly after the start. TARA ROSE continued to lose ground and
finished a distant last. A veterinary
inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities. Trainer H. Ardle advised Stewards that it
was his intention to retire the greyhound, Subsequently Stewards, acting
under the provisioned of GAR 71, stood TARA ROSE down from racing until the
completion of a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance. |

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES
MAIDEN 380M GOLDEN PHOEBE and FABULOUS MIA were the best
to begin. MARINE BOO checked off
GOLDEN PHOEBE in the back straight resulting in GOLDEN PHOEBE becoming
unbalanced, checking off DREAM WEAVER and losing ground. |

KOOLOOP COLLARS NOVICE 380M SMOKEY
WISHES and CALL ME DORY were the best to begin. RHONDA’S BEAR was tightened for racing room
and checked off FARINGDON losing considerable ground in the back straight. POPPY CHOOKY and SMOKES WISHES bumped on
the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming
unbalanced, losing considerable ground and causing interference to CALL ME
DORY and RHONDA’S YOGI. NOT FADE AWAY
checked off the heels of FARINGDON and lost ground on the turn into the front
straight. |

MCP RACING 4/5th GRADE 498M Even start with BORTHER ROB and CINCINNATI
LASS slow to begin. INNOCENT MAN,
KORCHECK and KAPPOW raced tight on the first turn after the start resulting
in KAPPOW losing ground. BROTHER ROB
checked off INNOCENT MAN and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. INNOCENT MAN checked off LOTS OF TIME and
lost ground entering the back straight.
BROTHER ROB checked off KAPPOW and lost ground prior to turning out of
the back straight. KAPPOW checked off
CINCINNATI LASS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. |

ROAD FISH BAR 4/5th GRADE 380M Even start.
RONRAY FLAME and GAGAN NANCY were tightened for racing room and lost
ground shortly after the start. RONRAY
FLAME improved on to the heels of TRISHA NOLAN approaching the turn out of
the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. RONRAY FLAME shifted out on the turn into
the front straight bumping GAGAN NANCY resulting in both greyhounds becoming
unbalanced and losing ground. |

HICKMOTT’S CARPENTRY & MAINTENANCE 4th
GRADE 380M LISCOYLE LADY was the best to begin. BURNER BANT was tightened for racing room
and lost ground shortly after the start.
AMY’S ELITE was tightened for racing room and lost considerable ground
approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to
SUPERFORMANCE and UNIVERSAL ONE. GOJO
MOJO suffered cramping after the race.
GOJO MOJO was stood down from racing until the completion of a
satisfactory trial. |

DCB MECHANICAL 3/4th
GRADE 380M FROM THE TAP was a late scratching at 18:50
on veterinary advice. Even start.
MADAGASTER checked off CABARET TONIGHT and lost ground prior to
turning out of the back straight. SWAP
YA, SKY LARK and SIR REGINALD bumped heavily on several occasions in the front
straight resulting in the three greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing
ground. |

STREET BOY marginally slow to begin. SLOW
DANCER was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. FACE TIME and GOLD TOTAL bumped on the turn
into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground and racing
wide into the straight. |

CRESTBROOK FISH &
BURGER BAR 5th GRADE 380M Even start.
ZIPPING CARLTON was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly
after the start. ZIPPING CARLTON
improved on to the heels of HARBOUR REIGN on the turn into the front straight
resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds. ZIPPING CARLTON shifted out across the
heels of SILVER MOUSE and bumped SMOOTH FLAME entering the front straight. MACADAM and MR. MERV raced wide to the
finish. |

T.G.R.C. 5th
GRADE 380M GO PRANCER GO and SLIPPERY COIN were the best
to begin. DASHING DIME and ARTS were
slow into stride as the start was effected.
VELOCITY AIM checked off FULMINATION and lost ground in the back
straight. MAYWYN WILL WIN checked off
BEAMING BOUNCER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. DASHING DIME was inspected by the
veterinarian after the race who reported the greyhound to be suffering from
cramping. Trainer M. Davies advised
that it was his intention to retire the greyhound. Subsequently Stewards stood DASHING DIME
down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial. |
