Stewards Trial 1 – 380m The greyhound ISA
FAB UP performed a satisfactory weight trial over the distance of 380m at a
weight of 32.1 in a time of 22.67. |

MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M WICKED EARNER was the best to begin. BANJO AN’ HENRY and ROCKET’S BUDDY were
slow to begin. RHONDA’S DOUGIE checked
off SPINNING JOY and lost ground shortly after the start. RUEBEN LUCKA checked off the hind quarters
of WICKED EARNER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. RHONDA’S DOUGIE improved on to the heels of
ROCKET’S BUDDY after turning out of the back straight resulting in ROCKET’S
BUDDY losing ground and some inconvenience to SPINNING JOY. BANJO AN’ HENRY improved on to the heels of
SLATER’S PICK prior to turning into the front straight, causing some
inconvenience to BANJO AN’ HENRY. SPINNING
JOY raced wide into the front straight. |

DAN THE PAINTER MAN
NOVICE 380M Even start with GLIDING MISS very slow to
begin. WICKED ASSASSIN checked off
SMOKEY WISHES and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting
in interference to RHONDA’S YOGI and DOWNTOWN PIXIE. WICKED ASSASSIN checked off the heels of
GLIDING MISS and lost ground on the turn into the front straight. |

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES NOVICE 380M WILLY
ROCKET was the best to begin. BROTHER
ROB was slow to begin. LITTLE MAGICIAN
was very slow to leave the boxes and very slow into stride. A veterinarian inspection of the greyhound
revealed no abnormalities.
Subsequently Stewards, acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood
LITTLE MAGICIAN down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial
for an unsatisfactory performance in particular leaving the boxes. RHONDA’S BEAR checked off the heels of NOT
FADE AWAY and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight. |

ROSSVALE FISH & BURGER BAR 5th GRADE 380M MADADAM was inspected by the veterinarian
prior to the race and passed fit to start.
MISS LARDIE DA and ALL FUELED UP were the best to begin. POUNCING LILIE checked off ASA ABBANDANDO
and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to
ZIPPING CARLTON. ASA ABBANDANDO raced
wide into and down the front straight. |

WILEY TRANSPORT 4/5th GRADE 380M UNIVERSAL ONE was the best to begin. KINDA HOT was tightened for racing room and
lost ground shortly after the start. TRAVELLIN’
MAN checked off SUPERFORMANCE and lost ground back on to KINDA HOT who also
lost ground as a result. TRAVELLIN’
MAN checked off HARBOUR REIGN and lost ground on the turn into the front
straight. KINDA HOT and HARBOUR REIGN
bumped continuously on the turn into the front straight resulting in both
greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. |

WEE WIN KENNELS 4th GRADE 380M RONRAY FLAME was the best to begin. BLUEFIRE CHALICE and LOTS OF TIME were
tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the turn out of the
back straight. FULMINATION raced wide
in the front straight. |

GSA BUILDING SERVICES
4/5th GRADE FINAL 498M Even start with INNOCENT MAN and BURNER BANT
marginally slow to begin. CABARET
TONIGHT moved from a wide position on the first turn after the start
tightening NOT A WORD in on to HUCKABEE on to RIFF resulting in the three
greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground causing interference to
HUCKABEE who bumped BURNER BANT out on to CINCINNATI LASS. KORCHECK checked off the heels of CABARET
TONIGHT and lost ground after turning out of the back straight. |

RACING BEST 8 380M Even start. BLACK MASS and KERRIE’S A MINX were
tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the turn out of the
back straight. KERRIE’S A MINX, SLOW
DANCER and MADAGASTER bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting
in some inconvenience to the three greyhounds. FACE TIME raced wide into the front
straight. |

GRADE 380M WATT UP was the best to begin. GAGAN ELL checked off the heels of WATT UP
on the turn out of the back straight resulting in BOWENVALE racing on to the
heels of GAGAL ELL causing GAGAN ELL to lose ground sharply causing
interference to FERAL CHERAL. SLIDING
DOORS checked across the heels of FARINGDON to race wide on the turn into the
front straight. FERAL CHERAL raced
very wide on the turn into the front straight. |

LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOODS
5th GRADE 380M VELOCITY AIM was the best to begin. TRISHA NOLAN, GOLDENPAW FLYER, ZIPPING
OUTLAW and OLD MATERIAL were slow to begin.
KAPPOW was tightened for racing room and lost considerable ground in
the back straight. DUSKY SILK checked
off COOPER’S LESSON on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both
greyhound losing ground. GOLDENPAW
FLYER shifted out entering the front straight bumping TRISHA NOLAN forcing
that greyhound wide. |
