MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M MR. CANNA and ALL LIQUORED UP were marginally
slow to begin. MIRA’S DJAY was
tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. General tightening occurred in the back
straight resulting in MR. CANNA, BANJO AN’ HENRY, WESTMEAD WARIOR, MIRA’S
DJAY and SPILL THE BEER all being checked and losing ground. MR. CANNA raced wide into the front
straight. |

NOVICE 380M SILVER MOUSE was the best to begin. RHONDA’S BEAR and RHONDA’S DOUGIE were
marginally slow to begin. RHONDA’S
YOGI improved on to the heels of SILVER MOUSE and lost ground on the turn out
of the back straight. RHONDA’S BEAR
shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping RHONDA’S YOGI forcing
that greyhound to race wide who in turn forced POPPY CHOOKY wide. |

MERVE was the best to begin. NO NOT ME
was slow to begin. BELLE’S HAWKE was
tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight causing some
inconvenience to WINNIE’S ROSE. |

MCP RACING 5th GRADE HEAT 1 498M UNIVERSAL ONE was the best to begin. CINCINNATI LASS was slow to begin. CINCINNATI LASS checked off WATCH OUT
RENALD and lost ground on the first turn after the start. Shortly after WATCH OUT RENALD and RONRAY
FLAME bumped resulting in RONRAY FLAME losing some ground. UNIVERSAL ONE checked off the heels of
HUCKABEE and lost ground entering the back straight. WATCH OUT RENALD checked off RONRAY FLAME
and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. |

ROAD FISH BAR 5th GRADE HEAT 2 498M Even start with SLIDING DOORS slow to begin. KORCHECK checked off KAPPOW and lost some
ground on the turn into the back straight.
NOT A WORD improved on to the heels of ARTS approaching the turn out
of the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds. KORCHECK checked off KAPPOW and lost
considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight. KORCHECK and ARTS bumped entering the front
straight resulting in ARTS becoming unbalanced. |

HICKMOTTS CARPENTRY & MAINTENANCE 4/5th
GRADE 380M GO PRANCE GO was the best to begin. FARINGDON was tightened for racing room and
lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight. BEAMING BOUNCER checked off TRISHA NOLAN
and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. FERAL CHERAL raced wide into the front
straight. |

GRADE 380M Even start with OLD MATE KICK slow to begin. CABARET TONIGHT was tightened for racing
room and lost ground in the back straight.
CABARET TONIGHT checked off MAURY SPIRIT and lost ground on the turn
out of the back straight. OLD MATE
KICK improved on to the heels of SIR REGINALD on the turn out of the back
straight resulting in OLD MATE KICK losing ground. MAURY SPIRIT was tightened for racing room
and lost ground on the turn into the front straight. OLD MATE KICK raced wide on the turn into
the front straight. CABARET TONIGHT
raced wide in the front straight. |

greyhounds FACE TIME and TOES passed the lure and eased after turning out of
the back straight resulting in the outcome of the race being
compromised. Subsequently the race was
declared a ‘NO RACE’. |

BURGER BAR 3/4th GRADE 498M BRUTON MISS was the best to begin. ASA ABBANDANDO and INNOCENT MAN bumped on
the first turn after the start resulting in ASA ABBANDANDO losing ground. SLOW DANCER and WHATTA PASS bumped on the
turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing some ground. SLOW DANCER was tightened for racing room
and lost ground ion the turn out of the back straight. |

5th GRADE 380M Trainer G. Thomson was fined $50 under the
provisions of GAR 39.1 for presenting SLIPPERY COIN to race with a weight
variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing. Subsequently SLIPPERY COIN was a late
scratching from the race. Even start with BROTHER ROB and LEAD
CONTENDER marginally slow to begin. HARBOUR
REIGN was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight. TRAVELLIN’ MAN lost ground on the turn out
of the back straight causing some inconvenience to TEMNICK. LEAD CONTENDER checked off the heels of
HABOUR REIGN entering the front straight. |
