ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

FABULOUS MIA was the best to begin.  GOOD PEOPLE, ALL LIQUORED UP and ISA FAB UP were slow to begin.  SONIC PEARL, FABULOUS MIA and CHEEKY KAYA raced tight into the turn out of the back straight resulting in FABULOUS MIA being tightened for racing room and losing ground back on to ALL LIQUORED UP causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground.  CHEEKY KAYA and SONIC PEARL bumped shortly after resulting in CHEEKY KAYA losing ground.  SONIC PEARL raced wide into the front straight.

DAN THE PAINTER MAN MAIDEN 380M

Even start with BANJO AN’ HENRY, ROCKET’S BUDDY and TYMA TAROMA slow to begin.  TYMA TAROMA checked off SLATER’S PICK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to WESTMEAD WARRIOR.  WESTMEAD WARRIOR and MIRA’S DJAY bumped entering the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES NOVICE 380M

SILVER MOUSE was the best to begin.  RHONDA’S BEAR was slow to begin.  RHONDA’S BEAR checked off the heels of RHONDA’S DOUGIE and lost ground in the back straight.  Shortly after PRECIOUS METAL was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  RHONDA’S DOUGIE checked off the heels of GOLDEN PHOEBE on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

ROSSVALE FISH & BURGER BAR 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with NO NOT ME and BEAMING BOUNCER slow to begin.  WINNIE’S ROSE and SWEET ROXETTE were marginally slow to begin.  VELOCITY AIM checked off the heels of WINNIE’S ROSE and lost some ground in the back straight.  ROAD MONSTER, WINNIE’S ROSE and SWEET ROXETTE raced wide into the front straight.

RJ WILEY TRANSPORT 4/5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  PALEFACE SCOTCH was tightened for racing room and checked off NOT A WORD losing considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.

WEE WIN KENNELS 5th GRADE FINAL 498M

Even start with ARTS slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the first turn after the start resulting in CINCINNATI LASS and KAPPOW losing ground.  CINCINNATI LASS raced wide into the front straight.

GSA BUILDING SERVICES 3/4th GRADE 380M

Even start.  INNOCENT MAN and LOTS OF TIME were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  MADAGASTER checked off FROM THE TAP and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities post-race.  Trainer Clarence Wilcox advised Stewards the following morning that the greyhound was sore in the off front pin muscle and would not race for at least 21 days.

AZZTEK RACING BEST 8 380M

CABARET TONIGHT was the best to begin.  GAGAN ELL was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  NOVA PARTY was tightened for racing room and checked off TOES prior to turning out of the back straight causing interference to GAGAN ELL who lost considerable ground as a result.

GOLFLINKS FISH BAR 4/5th GRADE 498M

Even start with POPPY CHOOKY slow to begin.  POPPY CHOOKY checked across the heels of ATOMIC OPIE and lost ground on the first turn after the start.  Shortly after ATOMIC OPIE checked off SLOW DANCER and lost ground back on to POPPY CHOOKY who becomes unbalanced and lost ground.  BURNER BANT checked off the hind quarters of WHATTA PASS and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  ARBORSTONE checked off WHATTA PASS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOODS 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  General tightened occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in FARINGDON and COOPER’S LESSON losing ground.  FARINGDON checked off the heels of TYSON’S FANTASY and lost ground back on to COOPER’S LESSON prior to turning into the front straight.  DREAM WEAVER raced wide into the front straight.
