RACE REPORTS

1.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN - 380M

 

Trainer Graham Thomson was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR39.1 for presenting ORBILICIOUS with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently ORBILICIOUS was a late scratching from the race.

 

KING NIC was the best to begin.  NO THANK YOU was slow to begin.

 

CAPE DE BELLE checked off GO PEBBLES GO and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to KING NIC and GROVVY SWEET.

 

KING NIC checked across the heels of GO PEBBLES GO and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.

 

CAPE DE BELLE and GO PEBBLE GO bumped entering the front straight causing GO PEBBLES GO to lose ground.  Shortly after CAPE DE BELLE and SILVER SNIPER bumped resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

Even start.

 

BANJO AN’ HENRY was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

OLDMATE GRETEL checked off BILLY BOJANGLES and lost considerable ground prior to turning into the front straight.

 

BANJO AN’ HENRY checked across the heels of OLDMATE GRETEL bumping RHONDA’S BEAR forcing that greyhound to race wide on the turn into the front straight.

 

OLDMATE GRETEL shifted out entering the front straight bumping BANJO AN’ HENRY forcing that greyhound wide.

WICKED EARNER was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

 

GO PRANCER GO checked off JACOBY RAIDER and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

ARTHUR’S STEVIE checked off NO NOT ME and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

NO NOT ME and GO PRANCER GO bumped on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.
