a time of 22.18, and is now cleared to race. The greyhound
AMBURLA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 380m, in
a time of 22.51, and is now cleared to race. |

MEATS TOWNSVILLE RQ MAIDEN 1000
FINAL - 380M CLYDBANK BOY was best to begin, LEGS
O’REILLY was marginally slow. Shortly
after the start, MANILA JET and SWAP ME checked, causing both to become
unbalanced and lose ground, in particular MANILA JET which lost substantial
ground. Approaching the 1st
turn, WHERE’S DOUG checked off heels and lost
considerable ground. LEGS O’REILLY,
which was trailing, was severely hampered as a result and collided with LEGS
O’REILLY causing both greyhounds to lose substantial ground. Leaving the turn into the home straight,
LITTLE BIT LOST was momentarily impeded causing it to lose ground. The greyhound WHERE’S
DOUG underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The
greyhound FORGOTTEN GEM underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

BLONDE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. STRONG ENOUGH raced wide through the 1st
turn, and continued to race wide through the turn into the front straight. |

RITSON was best to begin. Shortly
after the start, HARTLEY POWER was tightened for racing room and lost ground
as a result. Approaching the 1st
turn, GO FREDDY GO and WILD WISH bumped.
WILD WISH and RAMBO RITSON both raced wide through the turn into the
front straight and remained wide for the remainder of the race thereafter. |

LATTE CLOUD was best to begin, PASS THE AMMO was marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn, ASA
ABBANDANDO was tightened for racing room and lost ground. WILLY HOLDON raced extremely wide through
the turn into home straight, and stumbled slightly as it did. Just prior to the finish, PASS THE AMMO was
impeded and lost momentum as a result. |

HICKMOTTS CARPENTRY MAINTENANCE MIXED 3/4 – 380M LICORICE
SHOT was best to begin, BILLY BOJANGLES was slow. Shortly after the start, MANHATTAN MAID was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Approaching the 1st turn, BILLY BOJANGLES and MISS LARDIE
DA raced tight and checked, causing MISS LARDIE DA to lose substantial
ground, and BILLY BOJANGLES to lose ground.
Leaving the 1st turn, BEAMING BOUNCER checked off heels and
lost ground. The
greyhound BEAMING BOUNCER underwent a post race veterinary examination and
was found to have sustained an injury to the tail and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

was best to begin. WAYLON BALE, JACK
ADDI and MR. CANNA were all marginally slow to begin. Leaving the turn into the back straight,
WAYLON BALE and TINA SIERRA raced tight and checked, causing WAYLON BALE to
become unbalanced and lose ground. MR.
CANNA raced wide through the turn out of the back straight, and continued to
race wide for the remainder of the race.
Leaving the turn into the front straight, FERAL CHERAL shifted out,
which momentarily impeded MR. CANNA. |

WEAVER was best to begin, DALMATYNSKI was marginally slow. Shortly after the
start, MAGIC HARRISON was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
In the 1st turn, the entire
field raced tight, with DALMATYNSKI checking off heels and losing
considerable ground as a result. Leaving the 1st turn, BURNER BANT
and WILLY ROCKET raced tight and checked causing WILLY ROCKET to lose
considerable ground as a result. Approaching
the turn into the front straight, DALMATYNSKI was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost substantial ground as a result. The
greyhound DALMATYNSKI underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

through the back straight, RUM RUNNER was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Approaching the turn out of the
back straight, BUNDY CUTTER was tightened for racing room and lost momentum
and ground as a consequence. Leaving
the turn into the front straight, BUNDY CUTTER and BRINDI CHOPPER raced tight
and checked. OLD MATE KICK and
INNOCENT MAN raced tight and bumped on occasion over the concluding stages of
the race. The greyhound BUNDY CUTTER underwent a
post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

turn, and continued to race wide through the turn into the front straight. |
