The start of the race was delayed 30 seconds due to interstate racing.

SHADY SHADY (1) – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

PRAWN BOAT (2) – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

CAPTAIN PUGWASH (4) – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

TWENTY DOLLARS (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn into front straight.  Checked off another runner entering the front straight.

TWO AN SIX (4) – Slow to begin.

MAJOR FUSSED (8) – Stewards questioned the racing manners of MAJOR FUSSED in the race and subsequently acting under the provisions of GAR 69A stood MAJOR FUSSED down from racing for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SALAAM (2) – Slow to begin.

DIRTY CHAI (3) – Raced on from behind by another runner.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

MICKY THE JET (4) – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.

MOOLINDA (6) – Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

NO FILTER (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 4 – Burdekin Veterinary Services | MA5 | 380m

ZINCHENKO (2) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SPARKLING SHOGUN (3) – Marginally slow to begin.

QUEEN OF CAWDOR (6) – Marginally slow to begin.

SHAUN’S ENTITY (8) – Finished a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abdominal muscle strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.  Trainer R. Essery stated that it was her intention to retire the greyhound.

SHAKE THE PAINT (3) – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

VEGAS ROSE (4) – Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

GENIE’S GIRL (6) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

JOFFA’S MATE (7) – Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

WESTMEAD WARRIOR (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

CHILL OUT AL (3) – Bumped another runner as the start was affected.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fracture to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days and a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to starting.

INSTAFAMOUS (6) – Slow to begin.

VELOCITY LAYLA (7) – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

CLOVER LEE (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

WILD WISH (9-2) – Bumped another runner as the start was affected.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 7 – Ashmore Palms Holiday Village | Mixed 4/5 | 380m

The race was delayed 1 minute due to southern thoroughbred racing.

Trainer A. Wooler was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR39.3 for presenting CRACKERJACK KOBY to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently CRACKERJACK KOBY was a late scratching from the race.

THANNHAUSER (8) – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.  Severely checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
