Race 3 – Burdekin Veterinary Services | Grade 5 (1) | 380m

The race was run in moderate rain.

GO MOLLY GO (2) – Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

JOHNNY DARK (3) – Slow to begin.

REMARKABLE ROSE (4) – Tightened for racing room in the turn into the front straight.  Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

CHINA SWAGGER (6) - Trainer J. Schafer was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 39.2 for presenting CHINA SWAGGER to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently CHINA SWAGGER was a late scratching from the race.

VELOCITY LAYLA (7) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight

Race 4 – Bohle Barn Hotel Motel | Grade 5 (2) | 380m

LOOMING LARA (2) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

RHONDA’S STORM (6) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

SLOW DANCER (7) – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

Trainer G.R. Thomson was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 46 for failing to retrieve SCOTT HOOKED from the kennels by the appointed time for the race.

OLSPEN (2) – Bumped another runner twice in the front straight.

RENSHAW AVENUE (3) – Slow to begin.  Lost its muzzle in the race. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

CRACKERJACK CASH (2) – Slow to begin.

INNOCENT MAN (8) – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the front straight.

BILLY BOTTALUCHI (1) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

THANNHAUSER (2) – Bumped by another runner in the front straight and almost fell.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

TRACY’S SHADOW (4) – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

AS MAGIC IS (7) – Shifted out and bumped another runner in the front straight.

SUNSET WATCH (8) – Lost ground shortly after the start.
