Race 1 – Angliss Meats | Maiden | 380m SHADY SHADY (2) – Marginally slow to begin. Bumped by another runner and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight. ROGUE FUSSED (5) – Marginally slow to begin. INDY INFRARED (7) – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight. TWO AN SIX (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 2 – Garrrards Horse & Hound | Novice | 380m SALAAM (2) – Slow to begin. TESTA GIRL (3) – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight. JUST FOR JACK (4) – Slow to begin. HE’S BOARIN’ (6) – Checked off heels in the back straight. PRAWN BOAT (8) – Raced wide into the front straight.
Race 3 – Burdekin Veterinary Services | Mixed 4/5 | 380m HERE COMES PAPPA (1) – Slow to begin. OLSPEN (2) – Checked off another runner in the back straight. SUNSET WATCH (5) – Marred another runner on several occasions, on the turn out of the back straight, turn into the front straight and in the front straight. Stood down from racing for 3 months and the completion of a satisfactory trial under the provisions of GAR 69 – marring 2nd offence. WESTMEAD WARRIOR (8) – Slow into stride as the start was effected. Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Inconvenienced by another runner on the turn into the front straight and in the front straight.
Race 4 – Bohle Barn Hotel Motel | Grade 5 | 380m MAGGIE ROSE (1) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight. Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight, tailed off to finish distant. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off front triceps and was stood down for a period of 10 days. GREAT BAMBINO (2) – Slow to begin. RAY’S REWARD (3) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. SCOTT THE MOVES (6) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight. Tailed off to finish distant Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stood down from racing for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial under the provisions of GAR 69A – Failing to pursue the lure with due commitment HEZA RAPSCALLION (7) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.
Race 5 – TAB | Mixed 4/5 | 498m SEGREDO (3) – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight. WILD WISH (6) – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight. Raced wide into the front straight. CRACKERJACK CASH (8) – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near front triceps and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 6 – Cheapa Auto Spares | Grade 5 (1) | 380m The start of the race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate racing. LOOMING LARA (3) – Slow to begin. Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight. Raced wide into the front straight. REMARKABLE ROSE (4) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. NORTHERN GIRL (6) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.
Race 7 – Metroll | Grade 5 (2) | 380m CLOVER LEE (1) – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels on the turn out of the back straight. Checked across the hind quarters of another runner on the turn into the front straight. LOVELY MAZ (2) – Slow to begin. GO NICKY GO (5) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Checked by another runner on the turn into the front straight. BRIGHT SPRITE (8) – Slow into stride as the start was effected.
