Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance
with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into
the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7,
followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Just For Jake – Slow to
begin.

3 Into Thin Air – Bumped by
another runner on the turn into the back straight. Checked off another
runner on the turn into the back straight. Checked off another runner
prior to entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Trainer was advised that
the performance of the greyhound tonight was bordering on unsatisfactory.
When asked of his intentions in relation to the greyhound the trainer
stated that he would persevere with the greyhound and start it in a 380m
race before assessing the future racing career of the greyhound.

The Stewards delayed the ‘ALL CLEAR’ to view the film of the race in
particular the start While it appeared that the starting boxes opened too
early due to a manual start Stewards deemed that no greyhound was advantaged
or disadvantaged or duly affected by the early opening of the boxes and
subsequently the ‘ALL CLEAR’ was semaphored.

Shake The Paint – Bumped another
runner on the turn out of the front straight. Lost ground on the turn into
the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and
no apparent injuries were found. Trainer was advised that the performance
of the greyhound tonight was bordering on unsatisfactory. The trainer was
advised not to start the greyhound from 643m until satisfied that the
greyhound will perform in the desired manner.

Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have
sustained an injury to the near hind muscle and was stood down for a period
of 10 days.

on the turn out of the back straight.

Trainer C. Pickard was fined $50 under the
provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting Axel Boy Jose to race with a weight
variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.
Subsequently Axel Boy Jose was a late scratching from the race.
