4 Rossi – Checked off another runner and was raced on from behind on the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

8 Mamma's Gold – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

Trainer M. Rajan was advised that the performance of the greyhound was bordering on unsatisfactory and a warning was issued. |

Race 9 - DAN THE PAINTER MAN 5PW 380m |
|
1 Rothenburg – Bumped another runner entering the front straight. Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound in particular in the front straight. After viewing the film and taking evidence form the trainer P. Smith, Rothenburg was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69A1 for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. |

4 Zipping Homer – Slow into stride as the start was effected. |

6 Shake The Paint – Bumped another runner entering the front straight. Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound in particular in the front straight. After viewing the film and taking evidence form the trainer R. Essery, Shake the Paint was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69A1 for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. |
