General:

Trainer M. Hickmott was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 86(o) negligent, for presenting Predicate in Race 2 with the incorrect rug.

B. Welsh was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 86(o) negligent, for boxing Blinding Lights in the incorrect box.  Blinding Lights was removed and boxed correctly prior to starting.

Trainer R. Essery was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting Dyna Waqa (R8) to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently, Dyna Waqa was a late scratching from the race.

1 Crown Wexie – Slow to begin.

4 Freemont Street – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

5 Inconsequential – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

6 Prancing Prada – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular, on the turn out of the back straight.  Subsequently, Prancing Prada was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69A1 for 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

9 Treasury (7) – Raced wide into the front straight.

Race 2 - Garrards Horse & Hounds Novice 380m

1 Zipping Torah – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Nitro Legacy – Bumped another runner in the front straight.

3 Jump Like One – Slow to begin.  Bumped another runner in the front straight.

4 Despite – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Predicate – Slow to begin.

7 Dundee Dancer – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 3 - Angliss Meats 0-3 Wins 498m

5 Blinding Lights – Slow to begin.

Race 4 - Organic Solutions Australia Mixed 4/5 498m

1 Zipping Homer – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

3 My Girl Maisy – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Hot Wild Roses – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3 Rev Up Suzie – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 7 - Harold Hovi Grade 4 380m

2 Broken Halos – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

3 Max The Maniac – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

4 Provoker – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

6 Salaam – Checked off another runner in the back straight. Raced wide in the front straight.

Race 8 - Premium Glass Fencing Mixed 3/4 380m

2 What Expiry – Checked off another runner prior to turning out of the back straight.

3 Thannhauser – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Shifted out across heels to race wide into the front straight. 

4 Plyometric – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Raced wide on the turn out of the back straight. 

Race 9 - Mali Ardle Racing Grade 5 (2) 380m

2 Chisel Nibbs – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3 Quinn Bale – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Bounce By Name – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 10 - Rambutan Kennels Grade 5 (3) 380m

2 Peter Thief – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

4 Red Solo Cup – Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.
