Race 1 - TAB NOV/M 380m

 

1 Astor – Slow to begin.

 

2 King Cabang – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

4 Rival Simmo – Shifted out on the turn into the front straight bumping another runner.  Shifted in bumping another runner entering the front straight.

 

6 Watch Me Shine - Slow to begin.

 

7 Blinding Lights – Bumped by another runner and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.

 

8 Waetea – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Bumped by another runner entering the front straight.

 

 

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 0-1 WINS 498m

 

1 Who's The Muscle – Slow to begin.

 

3 Highly Rated – Slow to begin.

 

7 Whauchope Jinx – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

8 All Image – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 3 - ANGLISS MEATS GRADE 5 498m

 

2 Wynburn Cruz – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

3 Zipping Homer – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

6 Angry Hurricane - Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Subsequently Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood Angry Hurricane down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance.

 

8 Riding Hood – Raced wide in the front straight. 

 

 

Race 4 - MPL REFRIGERATION GRADE 4 (1) 380m

 

2 Looming Lara – Raced wide into the front straight.

 

4 Heart's A Mess – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

8 Fireman George – Jumped awkwardly as the start was affected.

 

 

Race 5 - BELFORD KENNELS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

 

3 Mighty Mad's – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

5 Twenty Dollars – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

7 Guard Of Honour – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

8 Midnight Memphis - Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 6 - TALKING POINT PHOTOGRAPHY BEST 8 380m

 

1 Editor – Slow to begin.

 

2 Early Promise – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

5 Ragin' Soldier – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

 

7 Go Molly Go – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 7 - INGHAM ROAD SEAFOODS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

 

2 Rev Up Suzie – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked from behind by another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off-hip support muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Trainer R Essery advised that it was her intention to retire Rev Up Suzie.

 

3 Broken Halos – Raced wide into the front straight.

 

4 Town Tamer – Slow to begin.

 

6 Clover Lee – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.

 

7 Wahroonga Lass – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Improved on to heels on the turn into the front straight.

 

8 Aletheia – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 8 - STEPHEN & RHONDA 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

 

1 More Please – Slow to begin.  Lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a minor bruise to the off hind toe, no penalty.  Subsequently Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood More Please down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance.

 

3 Mejorar – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

 

5 Jimary Ranger – Marginally slow to begin.

 

6 Inconsequential – Marginally slow to begin.  Checked off another runner in the back straight.

 

 

Race 9 - FROST & SPARK ELECTRICAL GRADE 4 (2) 380m

 

2 Samshu – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

4 Yellow Heart – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Convict Cullen – Slow into stride as the start was affected.
