5 Miss Empire – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

6 Mali's Cookie – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 May Do – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

9 Mali’s Torpedo (1) – Slow to begin.

10 Ohana Lea (2) – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 380m

2 Abandon – Marginally slow to begin.  Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

5 Zipping Red – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

9 Squamish (4) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a left hind muscle tear and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

1 Old Station Star – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Polly's Magic – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

4 Shuri – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Xericom Bale – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 4 - JUST PERFECT KITCHENS GRADE 4 (1) 380m

Race 11 - GREG & DONNA BROCKING GRADE 4 (2) 380m

4 Velocity Larni – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 Ted's Glory – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Top Odds – Lost ground after turning out of the back straight. To finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a right front triceps muscle  sprain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 12 - NAPIER FBBU GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Dutch Ambition – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Knuckled over on the turn into the front straight losing ground to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the right hind hock and was stood down for a period of 28 days and a veterinary certificate of fitness.
