2. Core Lit Insane – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

3. Joshua's Magic – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7. Sharayu – Improved on to heels on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a left shoulder muscle strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 380m

1. Rival Simmo - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the right hind muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days, a veterinary certificate and the completion of a satisfactory trial prior to racing.

2. Plain And Simple – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight.

3. Henryk Bale – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked from behind by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

5. Astor – Slow to begin.

8. Swift Sharni – Slow to begin.

2. Osmonds Wish – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.
